I dont like him. I just dont dislike him. The only posts of his I've read are in this thread and I'm yet to form an opinion of him yet.

Now, if we break down your own analysis of why I 'like him' and reverse it to why you dislike him we get this.

Outraged at the fact that a new poster actually liked Joe Calzaghe, you decided to give him bad Karma. Not to debate him, not to reason with him, but instead to give a new poster poor Karma for expressing his views. Presumably because you believe that this will render his opinion no longer credible, and no doubt partially because you are worried about debating in public in case he proves to be your intellectual superior (good odds on that one, I'd say). When giving him bad Karma, you realise that it doesnt take him down to Red and as a result you decide (instead of believing that perhaps two people with superior Karma to you may have sent him good Karma and thus yours did not have the desired effect) that he instead is an alt.

Now the question of interest to me is...why do you care whether he has green or red Karma and similarly...why do you care if he is an alt or not?

I think that perhaps, you spend too much time playing the big man on an internet boxing forum.

No doubt I'll be receiving some red karma and a profile rating of 1 in return (boo hoo)...or you may just man-up and air your views in public, or keep quiet for a nice change.

1. These questions are related; alts of veteran members can't be made red, for guessable reasons; if you're arguing with a "new account" but really somone you've known for years, it's kind of like there's a joke on you.

Alt or not, I dont care and I'm in a good majority when it comes to sensible and friendly posters who just like to talk about boxing.

Sort of; older members usually keep their alts green; and they send the 10K new members get to their original accounts. Of course these are bad moves if you wish to hide, but expoerience shows that's what they do.

I've never had an alt, honestly, but I've spent a lot of energy sleuthing them.

im on a few other boards and bs like that isnt tolerated on them, i can hang with anyone on a boxing diuscution but i wont post on punk sites like esb or this one with ass clowns like that around.
