I'm puzzled about folks insisting he fight toe to toe with Oscar.

I could understand if only brawling was allowed and boxing was illegal.

That's why it's called BOXING for cryin' out loud, folks.

Hell, if a boxer were penalized for boxing a fighter instead of brawling toe to toe, then... we could all say Floyd is in deep doo doo. Though, I honestly believe Floyd will at times stay in the pocket with Oscar just to prove to everyone that he can brawl just as good as he can box.

If Floyd can win by BOXING Oscar, and at the same time keep his face pretty,
then I say: "Box his ears off, Floyd."

Floyd most likely will not try to KO Oscar. I'm sure Oscar has a good chin. Floyd doesn't punch to KO he's doing it to land.

I wonder tho why Floyd felt he had to make this statement? I think he letting all this HBO **** go to his head a little much.

I say kinda, because he has ko'd many good fighters after wearin' them down.

But, that's what alot posters on here are afraid of. That he'll box all night, and, presumably, that's why Oscar can lose. Or why Floyd could win. However you want to look at it. And that's why it'll be a boring fight, as if there's no way Oscar can win and makeit exciting unless it's a toe to toe battle.

At least that's my take on it.

I feel if Mayweather does KO Oscar it will be because of acumulation of punches. I would be very surprised if Mayweather KOed Oscar on one punch. I just dont see that happening since Oscar has a good chin. He might stun him with a few shots, but not drop him.

DLH has been susceptibile to body attacks & he doesn't like to get there. Prime examples are both of the Mosley fights. In fact Sugar Shane hurt DLH to the body in the second fight. Vargas hurt DLH in the body in their fight as well. I also am a believer that a good body shot would drop anyone. I don't care how little the person's power is supposed to be. It's usually the placement of the punch or catching someone off guard that puts them down. So can Mayweather hurt DLH to the body? Hell yes he could. Mighty Mike was hurt this past weekend from a straight right to the body from Kendall Holt & I've never seen him hurt or stunned until that fight so it's possible.

Either Floyd is talking ****(nothing new) or he wants to make sure Oscar doesn't treat him like he has no power at all.
