More head Games for Oscar. But PBF is reaching a little far saying Oscar will be suprised.
Mayweather: "My Power Will Surprise De La Hoya"

Big surprise that this is coming from someone with Mayweather for there screen name. If you would take your Floyd blinders off and would have listened to the telecast George Foreman himself said that the pad wouldn't make a difference and a good body shot landed would get through and not affect it. There were times Fernando would land a good shot and oyu could see Oscar felt it. Maybe it's just me but I think that George Foreman would noa little better than you. Call me crazy but I beleive he would have a little more experience at a higher level of competiton. If you need to make more of this than what it is to feel better about things than so be it. Like i said even if that were the case Floyd doesn't have the power or the will to satnd in with Oscar long enough to find out.Comment

Yea well comapring an old well past his prime Gatti and an unprepared menatlly weak, overrated Judah to Oscar is ignorant. Don't get me wrong I love Arturo as much as the next guy but he is and was well past his prime when Floyd fought him. Floyd said himself that he was a C fighter, so that doesn't hold much water to me.Comment

Thats an ignorant statement and comparison, to compare floyd fightintg Corrales at super featherweight six to seven years ago to Oscar at jr middle. Especially Oscar being the bigger stronger man at a weoght that Oscar is comforatatble and considering that Floyd hasn't had power since his lightweight days. Corrales isn't even in the same class or ball park as Oscar. Oscar has a great chin and Corrales has shown that he doesn't have the best or strongest chin.Comment

i read all the comments on this thread but the difference for floyd is that he is facing a glod medalist not some chump....and about the power oscar won't
even feel it, as a matter of fact oscar is gonna take some punches so that he can counter and he is not going to feel em'Comment

Why does any fighter have to stand toe to toe with another fighter if that is not their style? Boxing is the art of hitting and not getting hit what don't some of you people understand about that. PBF has suprised many people with his power which people have said after they fought him. They stated they were suprised by his power and strength.Comment

Whether or not Mosley was faster PBF is up for debate but what isn't up for debate is that Mosley has never been a better technical boxer than PBF. What is a known fact is that Oscar has always had problems with real boxers and right now he facing the boxer in the game. Whitaker was old, on drugs and coming off of a year lay off when he fought De la Hoya and still gave him great fight a fight I feel Whitaker won. Mosley in the first De la Hoya fight was more of a boxer puncher and we all saw how that turned out for De la Hoya. As far as punching power goes PBF doesn't have to have 1 punch KO power consistently hitting De la Hoya over the rounds will add up which could lead to a KO or a TKO which I doubt will happen but if you check out PBF KO ratio it very good so he must have some power.Comment
