Im sure if i went to your Fillipino town i wouldnt get the exact same treatment that you would get... ITS LIFE BRO, just accept it.

with that said... once you got to know an Armenian and earn their trust and respect, you are set for life and they would never do you wrong and would stand up for u in a way that maybe your own brother would not.

To bring up a few shallow examples like you have is just wrong. I wont even argue them because I see absolutely nothing racist about it. There is favortism, big deal. If I walk in with my somewhat dark complexion and a light beard into your Fillipino store, im pretty sure the little old lady at the counter will start following me around, big ****in deal.
then you will walk in behind me, and she will tell you in your language, hey son, keep an eye out on that *********. bla bla bla.
I agree with this! I know many Armenians and they are only pissed and do not take disrespect if you really disrespect them but many of them are nice people this is a fact.

its just that they been spit on most of there life by the turkish, much like black people in america with whites so they tend to be tough and defensive its in there nature that they dont back down from disrespect.

the topic started regarding Glendale Armenians, and all I have to say is drive through Glendale and get a feel of what its like. its alive and vibrant, lots of small thriving businesses, classy middle class people who are family oriented, people who like the finer things in life, nice cars/houses/clothing/***lery.

the average 2 bedroom apartment rents for $1,500 a month... ya there is a reason prices are so high... HIGH DEMAND FOR HOUSING... reason being its a safe and beautiful clean city.
I understand bro but thats why i never disrespect an armenian just to be safe I am not a dumb guy they are very powerful in glendale just like the italians in new york city.

here is a little on the demographic in glendale, this is why i think ludwig got it wrong becuase he probally mistaken those aremnian with IRANIANS, most of the iranian women i met are very snobbish they only want to date the rich white boys.

Foreign-born residents accounted for 54% of the population in 2000. Glendale has a distinctively ethnic flavor, with large Armenian, Iranian, Filipino and Arab populations, and many businesses catering to them.

                    Glendale's Armenian Population

Glendale is the city with the largest Armenian population in the United States[1]. Census figures indicate that people of Armenian heritage make up 40% of the city's population, totaling some 85,000 Armenian Americans. As of 2007, two of the five members of Glendale's city council are of Armenian descent, Ara J. Najarian and Bob Yousefian. Armenian families have lived in the city since the 1920s, but the surge in immigration escalated in the 1970s and has fundamentally altered Glendale, transforming a former bastion of white, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant political power into a cultural melting pot. Evidence of Armenian influence pervades Glendale, and includes many restaurants, several Armenian schools, ethnic/cultural organizations, and on Armenian-language business and storefront signs. The Armenian community itself has evolved into a diverse group, with some in wealthy neighborhoods in the hills and poorer immigrants struggling in south Glendale.

The transition has not always been smooth, as evidenced by various controversies, including:

                    * Dispute in late 2006 over whether laws banning outdoor-grilling should be enforced on restaurants serving Armenian ethnic food[2]
                    * Every year as many Armenian residents recognize Armenian Genocide Commemoration Day by abstaining from work or school, displaying flags on their homes and cars, and distributing leaflets and fliers, and as city officials lower the American flag to half-mast, some longtime residents feel *************** regarding the attention the event receives[3]
                    * Tension grows between Armenian and Latino students in Glendale's local high schools after numerous fights and rivalries including Hoover and Glendale High School.[4].
