he spared and developed a style with the best martial artist in the world at that time... one of his colleges even taught muhammad ali.. bruce lee would kill pacquios or any one his size or close to..

well, i have many doubts about bruce being the most deadly man alive in his time. especially a time where there were a lot of full contact fights happening in certain countries who have produced top fighters who i have met and trained with.

first, yes, bruce's exposure came from acting. he loved acting from what i have read and watched.......

but, he is also a martial artist. meaning, he trained contact sparring on a regular basis. it is the difference between a performer and a fighter. fighters spar, performers don't really spar much or not at all.

let's not forget, bruce lee was a martial arts teacher at some point.

I studied a Martial Art known as Arnis or Kali. It's not well known but it's a Phillipino martial art.

yeah, it is not well known. about as well known as what i practice. from what i believe i've heard, it is a pretty effective - no bull**** - craft.

His students and followers were world champions in various styles.

Guys like 1970 World Heavyweight Karate Champion Bob Wall swore Bruce was the deadiest man who ever lived..

Journalists would describe the tension and horror of seeing Bruce confront these champions, who were in most cases twice his size, telling them "no, no, no - you're doing it all wrong.." Only to see these guys get dead silent, and listen to Bruce, hanging on his every word like obedient children..

        I've done my research.

I've fought in the martial arts professionally as my friends here know..

I love Boxing with all my heart, and frankly - I favor a Boxer over anyone, anytime, anywhere.. Including myself.

But this is Bruce Lee we're talking about.

Bruce is everything we say and more.

        People just don't get it.

He could strike with lethal force. (deadly, as in "dead")

        Nobody would have fought him.

He was too ****ing dangerous.. That's why he would take over entire martial arts exhibtions, and tournaments to do pushups and **** like that.. Are people doing the math here?.. The man was a very unique specimen.

I find this all ironic, hilarious, and most of all - ridiculous.

Bruce talked about the doubters himself..

More than anything - nobody had as much heart as Bruce Lee.

His spirit and his soul, his agressiveness and voraciousness would have consumed any other living creature who felt his presence.

He could have intimidated Lucifer himself.

        Real talk!

not trying to start an arguement. what real credentials does bruce have other than box office numbers? how do we know that he wasnt doing over glorified kata. feel me? give me something. someone saying, "yuh bruce lee whooped his ass." nowadays you will get exposed(not saying bruce would have been exposed), just look at when Chuck Zito whooped JC van dam, and still had time to finish his meal. Van Dam doesnt really have credentials. Chuck Norris does have credentials. what was he? like the 4 time world kick boxing champion? Thats what I want to know about Bruce. Now, dude was a sick sensei and did alot for martial arts. his influences will be around for a very long time.

All I know is that Bruce kicks, punches, and appears to be more like RJJ w/ his reflexes. PAC is quick, but he just punches. PREDICTION-> BRUCE KO victory via jumping back kick against a lunging PAC!! Or PAC's lead left is met w/ BRUCE's famous sidekick

Credentials bring legitimacy, but f**k when you're lightning quick like Bruce, how hard is it to execute a kick or punch and land it? If you think about it, guys like RJJ, and PAC too, don't have to do much in terms of setting up their punches, they throw it and it lands(simple as that), just ask Montell Griffin and Erik Morales(lol)

yes, he must be waiting for that kind of opponent thats why he trained so hard. too bad nobody tried him out after he became famous, that way any of his fights could be recorded.

Do I have to ******* somebody to prove to you it will make a hole 3 inches wide in the dudes chest?..

I've tried to qualify the argument by telling you all the experts of the day KNEW that the guy could destroy the human body.

If you can explode a 300lb. heavy bag with one shot, I guess the people who saw him do that figured it wouldn't feel very good if Bruce did that to their face.

There were many, many reports of Bruce Lee getting challenged and taking on the guys who really begged for it.

He was taking people out with such speed and force - he never fought.

                  That's true..

He was an executioner.. A killer.

.............I had one of his "How To" books..

Every finishing move was a shot to the eyes, adams apple, testicles, plex, or a major artery..

An organized fight was a joke to him.

He wasn't an athlete.. Again, I'll tell you - he was a killer.

                    I'm really liking this..

                    Nice.

                    Especially the bold.

Bruce was in the 25th dimension..

Don't expect us mortals to be able to explain it or understand it.

Try to bring Bruce back to Earth.. It will never happen.

                    Never.

                      thats FACT.

even if its just a movie his kicks were amazingly fast, there are no camera tricks, I've never seen any MMA fighter who could kick as fast as Lee. if he ever had the chance to fight in UFC with an opponent of the same weight he would have broken his knees and broken his nose before the opponent ever knew it.
