warren offer of $3m gross vs $5m net is a huge difference; $5m net, if he indeed means net as I think of it, is probably about $7.5m gross. If it's indeed the case that Warren's second offer included no TV rights, then the $3m offer is really no better than his original $1.75 + TV rights offer.. big difference..

So basically what's holding up the fight is the fact that Calzaghe is afraid to leave his country even for the biggest payday of his career? What's the most he's made so far? Thought it was like $3 million for the Lacy fight.

And Calzaghe needs to forget about Taylor and Hopkins. Those fights have no chance of happening until the end of the year or early 2008. Kessler is the only marquee opponent which he can fight before winter...

Oh come on? I don't know that anybody has said it'll make the most money in the UK but it'll make more in the UK or Denmark than it will in the US and everybody knows its very very unlikely warren will take the fight in Denmark leaving the UK as the only real option if the fights ever going to happen.

palle wanted the german rights is news to me..!! the only one i have heard claiming this is warren, this to me is far from enough proof..
