in the danish newspaper, berlingske tidende,by the way a very well respected news paper, it states that the unfinished business between joe and kessler has once again been brought a live..

palle states, that he does not want to hear people say, that kessler is ducking joe, and therefor has made this giant offer..

the fight is in september, and the date is not yet set, and palle aslo stated, this offer is twice as big,compared to what kessler was offered..

this ís certainly heating up at the moment, and if joe is going after big money fights, this is probably the best offer out there..

Palle will probably need to make it 5 million pounds and alzaghe wouldn't be able to turn that down. And even paying both Kessler and Calzaghe 5 million pounds each, Palle will most defeinitely make big money on the fight. Boxing really needs a fight of this caliber to follow up De La Hoya/Mayweather

It isn't a "big, big offer" though as he could make that from fighting anyone at home. I take it Palle's offer isn't for the US or UK though?

no the offer is, as of now, to fight in denmark,.. but thers it also stated, as a starting point the fight would be held in denmark, leaves a little room for negotiations.. but this is putting the pressure on warren, if he is going to bring mikkel to wales, he is going to make a big step money wise.

Very true, this could put some pressure on Warren to pony up some more bucks for the fight. So the best part is that the two sides are still talking about a fight.

It would be close, but less than he'd get from a Taylor or Hopkins fight. But then it's a lesser opponent so that's expected. I don't quite get your logic on the second part mind. Surely the pressure would be on Palle to raise/change his offer is Calzaghe says it's not enough to risk the typical continental judging and refereeing.

There's no way they'd agree to fighting in Copenhagen. If Palle is serious he'll up the money and book a London or US venue.
