I will prove that these guys can box for ****, losing to a non-professional boxer will be priceless!
New York is loaded with MMA/BJJ gyms. Keep in mind I have said a good boxer will beat a good MMA guy in BOXING. I know at my gym we have MMA and straight boxers. Actually our best pro MMA guy is also a pro boxer (with a winning record).

I'm more pissed at your 'MMA is fake' ******ity. Do you retract that, or do you still feel that way?

My above post about athletes, applies to all of you dip**** ******s. (stares at Gunstar1, potatoes, and RAESAAD) Staring at dumb****s who know nothing about the art of fighting, hurts my head. You guys need to do something constructive to this world,.... like commit suicide or something close to that. And NO, I'm not kidding.

        (Webster's Collegiate Dictionary 10th Edition)
Athlete: A person who is trained or skilled in exercises, sports, or games requiring physical strength, agility, or stamina.

Follow me, as I make this comparison easy-to-follow, for your inbred-self.

        Boxers
Training/Skill in Different Exercises: about a 4/10 Fist and footwork isn't the whole universe.
Training/Skill in Different Sports: about a 1/10 Boxing is considered a sport
Physical Strength: 3/10 Only perfecting your arms, doesn't increase your leg/back/lifting strength.
Agility: 5.5/10 pretty much lacking sprawl, moving your head/chest is only so much of the game
Stamina: 6.5/10 Usually great stamina for upper body, but the stamina on ground is a whole other story.

        MMAer
Training/Skill in Different Exercises: 8/10 Trains extensively in leg/arm/torsal strength/speed/flexibility
Training/Skill in Different Sports:6/10 Judo is a sport, BJJ is a sport, MMA is a sport, Kickboxing is a sport, I could go on.
Physical Strength:7/10 Working pretty much all parts of body
Agility: 9/10 Not only head/chest agility but sprawl and ground agility as well.
Stamina: 6/10 Not having to trade punches forever is an advantage, but ground game needs a whole lot of stamina.

Dip****, learn your definitions, learn to not talk when you're uneducated, and then get the hell off of your computer, cause you are ****in dumb as hell.

Sorry how do MMA fighters have nearly as much stamina than boxers?, i didnt know they fought for 12 rounds. lol

How is moving around the ring consitently for 12 rounds easier than lying on the floor in an elbow lock? lol.

UFC More skill? : Lets see, martial artists have alot of skill, except alot these guys aren't proper Martial artists, they are sportsmen trained in ASPECTS of martial arts.

Alot of them aint friggin grandmasters or anything. lol

Example. they are trained in certain kicks and holds, not all of them are competant at their own martial arts, if you put them in the ring with a serious Martial Artist, they would have to collect their arms and legs and put them in the boot on the way home.

Take the kick away from a UFC fighter, and put him in the ring with a boxer, he would most likey get knocked out stone cold. (Obviously Ju jitsu is a different matter, those guys would give boxers real problems)

Have you seen the way these guys strike? its embarrasing, takes them like 20clean shots to KO a guy with limited protection over their hands, a world class boxer would knock these guys out a few shots maximum.

Skill for skill boxing is supieror, it takes much more skill because boxing isnt 2 animals rolling around in an octagon, want proof?

BOB SAPP: Some american football bum with Zero skills goes into K1 and beats the greatest of all time Ernesto Hoost at the K1 World GP, you think some bum could learn boxing for a few months and then beat Floyd Mayweather?

By the Way i would put a prime tyson in with any of these mixed Martial artists, bet ya any money they get seriously hurt lol.

        lol.

Look this will be my last post for today because I have to leave now. I never said I'm a good boxer or a professional boxer, what I'm saying is that I will take on any of their champions in a boxing ring with boxing rules, they should knock me out in 1 round, don't you think, since I'm not professional? So if you know someone that will make this happen then send me the info by PM.

As for being fake, I said it did remind me of the old WWF style wrestling, only they do a little better job making it look more real! Lets not forget that most people thought Wrestling was real back in the old days, I remeber when I was a kid in school I got into fist fights with people that thought I was full of ****, people at that time was very defensive if you mentioned that Wrestlin is fake.

This is just my opinion so live with, I have a feeling that one day an ex MMA or UFC member will come clean and put an end all of this ****!

          Only time will tell!

It's a different kind of stamina. One of the first things you learn in BJJ is how to 'drop' your weight into someone. Breathing when you have someone on top of you who is a good grappler is not easy or fun. Try it sometime, then talk your bs.

Saying that grappling is '2 animals rolling around' is about as intelligent as those who say boxing is not The Sweet Science, it's just 2 guys punching each other in the face.

The ignorance on this thread in mindboggling.

                  Boxing>>>>MMA

Stop the debating already. MMA is crap, just take UFC for example. They pit their champs against ultimate fighter winners on ****en PPV. Thats like having boxing PPVS filled with top boxers fighting Contender winnings or runner-ups. Thats just how lame the talent is in the UFC, you have a bunch of guys training only a couple of months and landing fights on PPV. So what if MMA fighters can do more than just box, they only learn the basics of everything which is why they're fights are so ****en sloppy. They might do better in one area compared to the others but yet not mastering one. All a boxer has to do is learn to defend take downs....****, the MMA fighters learn to do it in little time, why can't a boxer?

Oh and another thing, these MMA redneck fans act like boxers would be pitted against guys that weigh a lot more than them, get the **** out of here, they'd be fighting at the same weight.
