The middleweight division is just sad. Had Hagler been fighting today, he would have kicked Taylor's ass and beat all comers.

Now all those Taylor fans, can you still be proud with how Taylor handles himself?
well as i said in a previous post, warrens offer is aat least as ridiculous as taylor´s, so is aclzaghe afraid of taylor..??

for the entire lengt of calzaghes career, it´s been said, everybody and everyone has been pricing themselves out a fight with joe, maybe the whole boxing world is afraid.. or maybe, just maybe its not everybody else... there have been lots of chances to get a big fight for joe, and it´s ****** to point fingers on all the others, the only one he can blame is himself..

      Warren would sue him.

lol he'd be a lot happier with an extra 4 mil in his pocket...

I really can't see this fight happening, but whoever said that Taylor isn't a legitimate fighter needs to have a rethink. Winky and Bernard? They're pretty tough fighters and he's been in with both and for my money, beaten both.

Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, Monzon, Robinson would have ****ing murdered them all though.

Who does JT think he is asking for 10million. Is he having a laugh? Kids are starving in Africa and he thinks he needs that. He should fight Joe in Wales for nothing to prove he is the man. He dont need money. Hes got enough of it.
And people trying to say Joe is ducking the yanks? JT had better get his ass in the ring for a reasonable amount of money. 4 million is enough for any ****** boy.

Hatton, on the other hand, asked for $13 million and wouldn't come down from that and that's ridiculous considering he only made $3 million to fight Tsyzu in his backyard...
Why should he be earning so much more just for travelling across the pond to fight? Taylor himself said the location isn't a factor. Of course, one of the sticks usually used to beat Calzaghe with is his reticence to travel to market where he'd earn less than he does at home ... strange how the same doesn't seem to be applying to Taylor here.

Warren has said that he didnt ask for options on Froch but I guess Warren aint to be believed.

Not worth the hassle. Froch has got his training to worry about, and Inkin in his sights.

Thats an audacious counter-offer from Taylor. He'll not get $10m no way. Calzaghe would have to sacrifice a lot of his purse to make that and Calzaghe (unlike his fans, who want him to fight for his legacy) has said a number of times that he feels he has proven himself as much as he needs to for himself and wants the big fights for the pay-day they'll provide.

I hope that Taylor is willing to negotiate this one down to around $7m and that some American networks pick the fight up. That'd seem fair to me.
