He's a ****ing loser trying to cash out in this fight, and honestly I think he knows he'll get his ass beat. He's just looking for a big paycheck, and thats exactly why this fight won't happen. Roy Jone jr= the same joke that got rejected by hbo/showtime when roy wanted to fight a bum for 1.5 mil.

WELL, anyways. If it does happen it'll only happen on ppv, since roy wants a ridiculous amount of money for being a loser and not a champ
well de la hoya has lost vitually every big fight he has been in and he still commands big money and even asks for ridicualous stipulations in his fights. like what kinf of gloves his opponents wear and what weight his opponent has to come in at(can be under the limit, but not too far) whats up with that.
By the way who was the guy that joe just faught 2 weeks ago? Oh, Manfredo! yea he is a world champion right? oh no, that guy couldnt even win a tournament on a reality show. then lost the rematch! if thats not a bum then i dont know who is

hes not fighting any different from the way he has always fought! he got caught with a lucky, but hard shot from tarver, didnt perform well against Johnson, and was too cautious against tarver the 3rd fight. a fight in which he could have won if he would have thrown his hands. you dont not be P4P for #1 for almost a decade, and then all of a sudden be considered a bum. and if thats the case joe should jump on this fight as long as it a fair deal for him, and prove himself. i bet these are the same people who said RJJ ducked Michealzewski! RJJ was P4P #1 in the world. why should he have met any demands that zewski threw out when RJJ was worldwide known as "da man". lets just make a fair deal for both fighters and like Mills Lane says, Let's get it on!"

Calzaghe Ko Jones , no question. RJJ isn't who he used to be , and even if he was, I don't see RJJ winning this fight with Calzaghe. Roy Jones, should stay away from boxing because he is finished. It was sad to see him get KTFO against Glen Johnson and it will be even worse to watch him be utterly murdered by Calzaghe. On top of that , after Calzaghe is done with Jones, we would never hear the end of it from brittish boxing fans and boxers. No, I think it is a bad idea, and if I wanted anyone in the ring with Joe at this point in time, I would have to choose B-Hop. I have faith in The Executioner and I think he can win this fight.

Roy's just calling Calzaghe's name out to make roy look like hes tough. But really, Roy wants no part of Calzaghe, and I personally believe he never did. Both an old and a prime Roy Jones Jr would have problems fighting a guy like calzaghe. Both have similar fighting styles, both would give each other problems in their primes. I think joe lands more, because joe has great stamina(in their prime), but I think roy throws faster(in their prime).

If they fought now, which they won't because Roy would never get in the ring with Joe, he's just calling him out to make himself look good. Joe would not only throw more punches now adays, but in my opinion would be the faster fighter. Plus, Joes chin has been tested by Kabary Salem, and Byron Mitchell. Both landed hard shots, both times Joe got up real quick.

Either way, I don't believe Roy ever wanted to step in the ring with joe. It's just too much competition for him to handle and too much pressure for him to handle. It's one thing to call a mans name out, its another thing to step in the same ring as him.

Thats my opinion, and roy fans can yell at me say what they want. They can even say the same about joe, and say joe was the one hidding. I don't think thats the case. I think it was roy and always has been roy.

I agree with you on this. It's not gonna look real good for roy however, when Calzaghe comes looking for a piece of roy, and roy goes running with his tail between his legs. So much for the Legendary Roy Jones Jr,

Roy dodges calzaghe*he'll call him out of course since calzaghes been calling him out forever*

Theres the proof in the pudding... Roys scared of good competition like hopkins aswell. That was a perfect offer for roy to take, 50/50... Hopkins is so reasonable.

How did Hopkins ever deserve 50/50 with a prime roy jones?

Hopkins pussied out of the roy jones rematch his whole carrer, he insisted on 50/50 knowing jones would say no, because that was the only way he could make Jones look bad without fighting him.

Even now, RJJ offered him out in a winner gets 60/40 match, Hopkins STILL said no, and went on to a deal with a 154 pound Winky Wright moving up to 170.

Bernard Hopkins = Smart Matchmaking. lol
As my above post says Hopkins Ducked Jones.
