That's why he's making the offer - he knows it will never be accepted. $4million is hardly the biggest purse anyone's ever gonna make so that won't definitely make Taylor want to accept the fight, plus he will NEVER take a fight two months after he's got one already scheduled. It's a joke. In two weeks we'll hear Warren telling us that Taylor's scared of Calzaghe or that he priced himself out of the fight. Same ****ing Frank Warren. Calzaghe is 35 - he's wasted his career. If Warren were serious he'd be talking about an August date, but he's not so **** him.

I think Frank Warren hurts UK based boxing, i think he likely advises these tactics to fighters who really do want to fight the best and travel outside the country. Not tomention never aggressively making serious offers for US fighters to come there. I think most US fighters would do it, FOR THE RIGHT MONEY.

He isn`t responsible for Calzaghe not fighting Kessler or Hopkins....those fighters have promoters too, and they negotiate until they get a big fat pay check and the odds are in their favor.

If Warren were serious about getting Jermaine Taylor then he would have offered about $6million and a September date, not July when the whole world knows Taylor wont be ready for then.
