    He already has. Twice.

    I can't blame Warren for not trying to make the Taylor fight in the US. That boy's the king of the home-town gift decision.

    Kessler???? He's not worth travelling for.

      Why would Taylor take a offer of 1.6m to fight Calzaghe in London. When he can fight Ouma and Spinks Junior Middles and make more money in the U.S. i think Frank Warren got it wrong he will never get a top guy to get in the ring with Calzaghe with those kinds of offers. Taylor is not a contender so why treat him like one with that kind of offer i can imagine what they gave Jeff Lacy.
      Frank Warren needs to keep his Big buffalo on crack ass in London. And if Calzaghe wants to get real top guys in the ring all he has to do is drop Frank Warren and come to the U.S. He didnt look that immpressive when he fought Sakio Bika in the u.s. last time so that speaks for itself that he needs to be accross the water to get a victory fake ass p4p want a be. Drop Frank Warren this would make you look a whole lot better Calzaghe.

        yawn. I reckon all 100-odd of your alt posts have been two liners about the corruption in the UK (a place I'd wager you know next to nothing about) or criticism of calzaghe.

        Mate there's a reason you're in the red.

          If Palle are demanding a 50-50 split with joe given their respective situations and the fact that Kessler is no.1 contender NOT the 168 champ then they wre quite frankly as unrealistic as toad-boy Warren.

            A realistic offer for the Calzaghe-Kessler fight to happen would be:
            - 60-40 split for Calzaghe;
            - fight in the US with international judges;
            - ref to be Joe Cortez, Steve Smoger, Jay Nady or someone of similar calibre;
            - probably atleast US$5 million on the table to be split.

            For Calzaghe - Taylor:
            - 50-50 split for the purse;
            - fight in the US or England with international judges;
            - ref to be Joe Cortez, Steve Smoger, Jay Nady or someone of similar calibre;
            - probably atleast US$7 million on the table to be split.

            PS. a note on sizes - no real difference between them.
            All seem to be decent size Light-Heavy's, & the only reason Taylor's making Middleweight is youth & hard training, & that's not going to last long.

              Because Vegas is Taylor's hometown? Every single one of Taylors "hometown desicions" were competitive fights that could have gone either way, the 2 hopkins and the wright fight could have gone either way, easily. Which is why people argue about those fights to this day.

              Essentially your post says JOE C shouldnt come to the USA to fight taylor because of him being the "king" of the hometown gift desicion, when the same could be said of Joe C after his fight with Robin Reid, even though that fight could have gone either way. And Kessler isnt worth travelling for...so then who is? I guess the Ottke path is acceptable to you?

                Are you kidding? Jay Nady is a dreadful referee. He has more controversial deciswions and calls to his name than anyone else in boxing.

                  You don't quite get the concept of a home town decision, do you.

                      Calzaghe getting a home town decision against Reid when it was the latter who was the home town favourite.

                      Mind you, as Reid himself said after the fight, Calzaghe just did enough to win.
