it's old news but the fact still remains anyone with any boxing sense knows that taylor didn't win those fights, they were given to him.

if it were a fight with no judges only popular vote from the fans (real boxing fans who know WTF) taylor would've lost like he should've, hopkins got beat by HBO and their hype machine, plain and simple.

but that isnt the issue, my meaning behind all this is that taylor is being looked at by warren and calzaghe knowing that he isnt ready to take on that kind of challenge, he is still green, taylor is a top fighter but not an elite fighter and calzaghe and warren know that. not saying kessler is elite but he's more ready and prepared and better skilled than taylor to take on calzaghe.
ESPN polls which was the biggest poll had Taylor winning!

you guys just like flaming and don't see the real issue here, it isnt about hopkins, it's about taylor being protected and not being ready to handle a fight with calzaghe, and calzaghe and his people knowing that.

for anyone not to see that taylor isnt ready, you're either blinded by HBO hype or frank "the douche" warren's hype, keep following sheep...................

taylor shouldn't even be in the running for a fight with calzaghe, not yet at least, not until he gets at least 3 more fights/wins in him.

I love how everyone says joe won't get noticed if he fights in england. Yet, joes been fighting americans his whole career in wales. He's been noticed, and he doesn't need to get anymore publicity after the lacy fight. Thats what made him big over here. He's the supermiddle weight champion of the world, I think thats big enough to be noticed.

Will most people don't agree with you, check the ESPN polls which had Taylor winning, also you can't win a fight when losing the first 8 rounds. Why are you repeating the same garbage from 2 years ago, if you're not crying about??

Super-middleweight as of now is not a marquee division, which is why Joe needs to get on the horse and come to the states, and fight a guy at 175 that is known to be a threat. Not THOUGHT to be a threat, but known.

also, how much is taylor making to fight spinks?

that would help to put this 1.6 mill in perspective

and as stated before, offering a july date is absolutely laughable

made even moreso by the fact that CALZAGHE HASNT FOUGHT ON 3 MONTHS REST IN ALMOST 8 YEARS
