Your thoughts about: Manfredo v.s Calzaghe

Theres a distinct difference between rabbit punching and landing to the side/back of the head because someone ducks into your punch. I've watched the fight twice and I didnt' see any rabbit punching, but I'll watch again to check. It's not something I'd expect though.

Well, i thought rabbit punching is punching the dude in the side of the neck. He did that alot. Watch for it. When I googled rabbit punching. They consider it the neck region and the back of the head

Guess im not going to get a response back now since it says rabbit punching is illegal. And it says the neck is rabbit punching aswell as the back of the head... hmmm... i don't remember calz getting any point deductions for doing it

rewatched, there was a few little punches behnd the head in a clinch early in the first round, tiny taps, other than that the only foul I saw from calazghe was hitting on the break (marginally).

Mate looking for dirt in this fight is completely missing the point anyway. It was a mismatch, plain and simple. that is the thing it is worth focussing on, and everyone agrees joe needs a big fight next up against Hopkns No.1 at 174 or taylor no.1 at 160 pr kessler no.2 at 168.

It Was A Mismatch Cause Calzaghe Choose It, no one forced him to fight a ****ty contender fighter he choose to do that on his own. Everyone who watches boxing knows manfredo sucks ass. But he did better then i expected defensively for my taste. His defense was leaps better then lacy's in my opinion.

Some times I cant understand some of the guys views on here..Joe is a damn good fighter he fought a crap boxer,who had nothing to show.. Lets get real, Manf never had a chance of winning, And I do believe if he didnt get knocked out in the next 10 secounds or so he would be out in the 4th. I think the first round Joe was just sizing him up, Went back to his corner and thought this guy is a real *****,Can't believe how easy this is gonna be. As for the Hessler fight! Joe needs to be fighting in July which Hessler cant do for some reason, So I think they might fight Taylor!
(which is a fight I wuld love to see) Or Hopkins. Then the Hessler fight will be on..I hope...But Joe aint gonna be Ducking anyone lets make it right he never has and never will.

joes a fraud. Trying to fight an old ass hopkins instead of kessler. **** him, he wanted no part of kessler. After the fight he talked about fighting hopkins or jermaine taylor. ****ing kessler is leaps better then those two and he has belts. **** calfraud.

Whether you like it or not, Manfredo is well known in America and it was a showcase fight for Calzaghe again. You are mouthing off about nothing! WTF! Are you now suggesting that all fighters who hit someone on the neck get DQ? What are you on....are you taking the piss or being serious? Do you expect fighters to have radar like accuracy on everypunch. If you are fighting in the heat of battle it is 100% likely that you are gonna hit someone on the side of the neck with a stray punch! Its only when it is obvious and malicious that the ref should step in!
