Your thoughts about: Manfredo v.s Calzaghe

Boxing has 12 rounds. There's been fights in the past where a lesser fighter is given a puncher's chance and at times gets lucky. Calzaghe owes Manfredo some more rounds. And if he has any integrity he would give it to him. Bad judges and referees are not good for boxing. This fight was not good for Manfredo, Calzaghe, or fightfans.

But the better fighter was obviously clear.
Theres a difference in talent there.

****, I missed it at 5 so I'll catch the soon to be reaired replay. I knew this was gonna happen though. If I didn't mention it enough that Manfredo will finally be blasted outta the game, I dunno what else I could have said. He was completely overrated and how the hell he managed to get a shot at Joe was hard to grasp. I'm glad this proves that he shoulda never been in the same ring as Joe and he can get outta the spotlight that he's been in for too long just cause of his contender marketting.

the stoppage was complete crap give the guy a chance, even though he wasn't throwing back he was blocking a lot of those punches and calzaghe missed a lot of those punches, not one of those shots hurt manfredo, he was just overwhelmed by the hand speed and the continuous punching of joe. just like i've said here is another fighter that calzaghe has faced that wasn't ready to be fighting at that level, when joe starts fighting and beating people that are on his level of play if not better then i will give him the full props he's trying so hard get by a world wide audience.

the way he won today isnt anything to celebrate or be happy about, it did nothing for him manfredo or boxing.

the caliber of fighters he fights and having the officials on his side it's easy to break any record or have a spotless resume. whether he would've KO'd manfredo or not, having the ref stop the fight when a fighter isnt even hurt or wasn't even hit with a big punch is bull**** and far from admirable.

Manfredo was game until half way through the 2nd when Joe landed 2 stiff JABS.. JABS ffs!!..That just seemed to zap the spirit right out of Manfredo..
from there it was only a matter of time.. The ref was trigger happy.. But it was coming anyways..

Manfredo deserves a rematch, fight was fixxed for calzaghe. I don't know if calzaghe realizes it was, but the ref was setup to give him that win. No way in hell should have they stopped that fight. Disgusting as hell, and calzaghe with his grin instead of being pissed off that the ref made his 20th defense look like ****. Those punches had no power behind it to give a man a comma or to give them brain damage. Peter was talking fine after the fight with no bruise on his face what so ever. **** wales

joes a fraud. Trying to fight an old ass hopkins instead of kessler. **** him, he wanted no part of kessler. After the fight he talked about fighting hopkins or jermaine taylor. ****ing kessler is leaps better then those two and he has belts. **** calfraud.
