Course we ****in do, it was just starting to get interesting, Calzaghe was a league above Manfredo and would have hurt Manfredo long term.

I'm gutted by that bull**** stoppage and I want to see Joe fight a big name in the States next if only to shut you ****in lot up.

Very disappointed in the stopage in a world title fight u have to give a man a chance. Joe was crusing . Im wondering if the fact that the lacy fight was not stopped when it should have been was pressuring the ref to protect peter

It's funny because i recall Teddy Atlas saying. "Once Manfredo hits the ropes it's over" Teddy was on point.

Kessler said the same thing.

Not just this time, but Atlas is right sooo often. Its almost shocking how often this guy is right.

As much as I was hyped to watch a good fight. The ref stops it prematurely. Im tired of ya people claiming we haters! We not hating it was just a premature stoppage. I was hoping to watch a competive fight. Manfredo wasn't hurt. He was probaly stunned, and when he was on the ropes he was getting hit with some shots, but also was blocking. Then he starts to bob and weave and that's when the ref decides to stop the fight. That stoppage was pointless! ****** ref! Fat ****.

Weak stoppage though.. WHat can you do? I don't hate Calzaghe.. I hate the ref.. Calzaghe is a good fighter. Manfredo was ok. Even though he would've gotten KO'ed later on, the ref should have gave him a chance. It was aa world title fight. Bad stoppage for HBO. I hope they file tht refs name and ban him.

I don't think anyone hates Calzaghe. Everyone just still doubts him. Once he comes to America and challenges a real opponent maybe he'll get a little respect.
