the fight was in wales.. on HBO.... all the people and more importantly the money was on calzaghe....

when a guy is -1000, like calzaghe in this instance... in his hometown... the ref knows its his job to stop the fight when he gets a chance

Horrible stoppage no doubt. Manfredo wasn't on pace to mount a comeback, but the stoppage was still a disgrace to boxing.

Man please,he was covering up,letting Calzaghe throw the flurry,that was a terrible stoppage,if it was the other way round,and Manfredo beat Calzaghe in the same manner u wouldent be saying that it was a good stoppage

The fight would have been over soon anyways. So you can cry about the stoppage, but dont criticize Calzaghe.
