Of course, this would be more of a rebuttal if I'd actually said the stoppage WASN'T bogus, right? But still, feel free to stereotype whatever views I may have... after all, I'm English right, so we all think the same? Especially about a good English fighter like Calzaghe.

i see your mesmorized by his bull**** talk just like the ref was mesmorized by his bull**** slaps that werent landing, at least hes fighting the big names like bika and manfredo finally, the only people calzaghe is slapping around is his fans which should be no one after this fight
Shouldn't he have waited, at least, until a few days after fighting Manfredo, before making this comment?

Manfredo wasn't going to win that fight. Premature stoppage but good it saved 25 or so minutes of Calzaghe hitting Manfredo and then stepping back out or holding.

Manfedo should have thrown back but Calzaghe most likely would have stopped him later on in the round or the fight.

Calzaghe is a good fighter. He needs comptetition and a plane ticket to the USA to earn my respect though.

The english thing was just a joke dude. Don't take it to heart and act all insecure on me.

Even calzaghe said that was a premature stoppage and Barry Mcguigan was livid in his analysis. Im angry with Manfredo for not fighting back but theres no getting away from it that was a terrible stoppage and a bad day for british boxing when a referee like that can take charge of a world title fight. So thanks Frank Warren for another pointless card...**** sake what a waste of a night.

I didn't like the stoppage either but IMO the one to blame is Manfredo for not answering with some fire of his own.To me thats what happens when you get like 30 times with no answer whatsoever, getting hit clean or not...

Manfredo ******. He would have been whooped. Cotto is overrated..Margarito is the man! He is sooo unstoppable and he can beat Klitchko!!! Hahahahaha! Bro, Cotto is going to look underrated when he destroys Margarito and the Referee saves his life.
