"Latinos" and "Hispanics" are not races, there are only 3 races and those are : Caucasian, Negroid and Mongaloid. Arabs and Persians are classified under "caucasians" and actually Persians (Iranians) consider themselves the "original Arian nation" and superior to the rest of the world.

I from Mexican Indian desent, I am not Latino nor am I hispanic in race. Those are racist terms that we should not fall for or take pride in. I call myself a Chicano or a Mexica because thats what my blood line is. I am not a latino because Im not European and Im not a hispanic because theres no such thing as a hispanic "RACE". I am a hispanic according to the US census beureau because I speak spanish and they classify me as such.

I'm not trying to degrade you or take away your pride of being a "latino" or "hispanic" but it's time we educate ourselves and understand who we really are and where we came from.
Semantics. Besides, what if I was referring to anybody living in Latin America latino. And the issue goes to more things than race, like ethnicity or culture. There are many blacks that live in Latin America for generations, and I would say their race is different than their culture. They've never been to Africa so are they African? If a guy comes to the US and becomes an American citizen after living in, lets say, South Africa all his life and his family lived there for generations would he be considered an African American? What if he was white, since there are many whites there? Point is, there are a lot of bull**** generalized terms out there and I don't what to get into a semantics argument.

The fact is cyberthugpatrol got caught completely contridicting himself.

Semantics? LOL, no, FACTS. If you want to speak like you know something than back it up as facts. Cyberthugpatrol didn't contradict himself, he mearly stated he's not latino and he's right.

Doesn't matter where you are born, when talking about race. The term you used "latino" was a reference to race, not location. I could be born in China, I still wouldn't be Asian. I would be a citizen of China but not Asian by race. And YES if you are black here in the US or anywhere else in the world, your ancestors are from Africa, no matter how you cut it. You are trying to confuse the argument by mixing place of birth with race. "Hispanic" and "latino" are racist terms that we need to seperate ourselves from, educate yourself youngblood.........

If you go around and ask different people what their definition of latino is you'll get all different answers, thats the point I was making. Even if theres a correct definition of a word and everyone elses definition. You say its a racial term, I just looked it up in wikipedia out of curiosity, it says its a term for inhibitants of Latin America. Thats not a race, and even if thats not the "right" definition it's a meaning for the word so tell me how is that not semantics.

As for cyberthugpatrol contradicting himself, in a thread about the best latino fighters, he names three fighters who are Mexican. Then in this thread he says that Mexicans aren't latino...so please tell me how the hell that isn't a contradiction.
