Mexico has more great fighters, which is expected, since they have like 25 times as many people as P.R.

It's all relative. Mexico has over 100million people. Puerto Rico has only 7 million. Taht being the case, Pr has been pretty impressive and may have produced more champs than Mexico by 1 or 2.

Typically, PR fighters tend to be more slick etc while the Mexicans appear more forward moving and less polished. Obviously their have been exceptions e.g. Tito and DLH.
