That he deserves credit for. He makes decent cards I will give him that. Not bad for an anti semite and closet racist. His screwing over of Robert Middleman always left me with a strong dislike for Oscar and when he stabbed Alcazar in the back that was the last straw. Do you really think if he was a great guy he could have developed a steady relationship with a least one trainer by now.

Whitaker would never have an easy fight with Trinidad. Prime Whitaker was not a welterweight. He was prime at lightweight. He was not nearly as big, tall, or rangy as Hopkins, Wright, or Oscar.

Whitaker wasn't dominant at welterweight like he was at lightweight. No welterweight he dominated was anywhere near Trinidad level. The closest thing to domination by Whitaker over a real top level welterweight was the rematch with Buddy, in which Pea still got dropped.

If Pete built his game plan around avoiding Tito's left hand I believe he would have done so. Keep in mind Pernell was the worlds #1 p4p fighter at 147 when this fight could have taken place.

Tito used to lose rounds to club fighters before getting even with his left hook, I would bet he never landed his home run, do you think he would have?
