    Final:
I think that might be a step much...and I personally hope he wins impressively. With Kessler appearing on ESPN this week, the buzz is growing for those two to fight and this weekend (behind the scenes and on camera) is critical to that fight.

      Question for "the final word":

What do you think of Kessler? I assume you believe he's another Euro nonentity (seeing as this seems to be your main criticism of anyone).

If you do not rate Kessler which (American) fighter at Super Middleweight do you consider a worthy challenger that Calzaghe should fight to prove his worth to you? Failing that who, outside of the 168 lb division, should Calzaghe fight to prove his worth? Bernard Hopkins obviously. Who else?

Ohhhh you mean just like you said Lacy was a fraud all along....

In all honesty if Manfredo does beat Calzaghe then great stuff, good for him, it will completely shake up boxing from 160 to 175 lbs. I wouldn't put my money on him doing it though.

I can only hope that is the case. Unfortunately, Calzone seems to be content with calling out 41 year olds and little middleweights like Winky rather than unify his own division that he is somehow still king of. It's clear Joe is more interested in chasing a number with easy exhibition fights before taking a real risk on a true threat.

Kessler seemed impressive in his fight with Andrade, the latter of whom is hardly a top tier fighter but has a chin of iron, which may explain Kessler's failure to knock him out despite landing dozens of powershots square on his chin. At least Kessler appears willing to fight anyone and seeks to unify his division.

The American 168 lb division is ****. So are our heavyweights. But that doesn't excuse euro fighters from unifying their division. Calzone or Kessler should unify first then move up to light heavy if they fail to find any great fighters at 168. Great fighters don't move down weight classes, they move up. Hopkins and Tarver are the obvious fights at 175.

The Final Word= Jeff Lacy... AND Jeff Lacy is part of the so called ****ty super middle weight division. Jeff Lacy is a sour *****, that joe calzaghe ruined his career, no one will ever take lacy seriously again since he got outclasses by an italian warrior.

Lacy is hardly a *****...he just was in a nightmare style matchup. He showed a ton of heart just in not quitting.
