World Super Middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe hasn’t lost. Ever. He’s had 42 opportunities to do so, twenty of them defenses of the WBO belt he’s worn since beating British legend Chris Eubank in 1997. Saturday night he isn’t supposed to lose either. That doesn’t mean he won’t. Calzaghe on paper has every advantage in size, speed and power. The only thing he might be missing against Ring Magazine #10 contender, and “Contender” runner-up, Peter Manfredo (26-3, 20 KOs) is an extra nine minutes. [details]

I hope he goes the distance. Maybe gives Calzaghe a hard fight and really makes a name for himself in the future.
If Manfredo wins, it would do wonders for boxing in the US, and for the ratings of the next season of "The Contender"

There are smany ways "Manfredo" is going to win, and many more he could win.
He wins by showing up.
Actually winning itself would surely guarantee a book and movie deal.
It's like 85-15 Calzaghe right about now.
I'm just hoping the guy isn't already satisfied just getting this far.
Some of this is up to him.Comment

manfredo will win in my opinion if he doesn't get knocked out but loses by decision. even if calzaghe breaks his hand, i don't think manfredo can actually win the fight, manfredo is a good tough kid but no one's confusing him with the reaper of runcorn. There are smany ways "Manfredo" is going to win, and many more he could win.
