Margarito makes a great heavy bag for up and coming fighters with some boxing ability.

How could anyone continue to hype Margarito after the terrible performance against Clottey? Most people, even his diehard fans, know that he would have lost that fight had Clottey not injured his hand.

The hype may start up again once the Williams fight gets closer...

That is a ****** comment...how many fights have been lost due to cuts..injured hands etc...it's part of boxing..remember clottey was hitting margarito whe he supposedly injured his hand...if he fought him again he would break his hand again and lose again and then what?...don't you think it's odd that clottey injured his hand and yet 4 months later he is fighting corrales...the truth is that he hit margarito with all he got and saw no change and decided to quit...check the clottey -corrales fight..clottey will easily win ..he would easily beat william too...clottey is another good ducked fighter...gayweather would never fight him...we all know that if gayweather was that much better than clottey as you claim ..gayweather would have fought margarito by now...but i think gayweather knows more that you on his capabilities

He beat Kermit Cintron when Kermit Cintron was widely considered the future of the division. Now people who dislike Margarito say that Cintron was green and never much of a fighter anyway. Despite his three knockouts after Margarito and his 22 knockouts in 24 fights before.

I still think Margarito is going to really damage Williams unless Williams has been working on his defense.

i think he " struggled" against clottey because clottey is a good fighter and maybe saw this was his big chance and brought out his A game or whatever.
margarito's swarming style is kind of like marciano's - u see him in the ring and think " he looks like dog****, i can beat himm easy " then when he's front of u it's a whole different story. i remmeber how everybody was saying **** like " u better pray for margarito, cintron's so good he's gonna knock marga out in the first round, he'll have brain damage, etc. " and all this bull****, and we all saw what really happened
