he never fought big names, and when he fought clottey he had difficulties. but i will give him his a little bitcredit when he beats williams, and for willing too fight mayweather who is the pest pound for pound

He beat Kermit Cintron when Kermit Cintron was widely considered the future of the division. Now people who dislike Margarito say that Cintron was green and never much of a fighter anyway. Despite his three knockouts after Margarito and his 22 knockouts in 24 fights before.

I still think Margarito is going to really damage Williams unless Williams has been working on his defense.

that makes one fighter, not even especially good, he beat a puncher. cintron is not in the same league as mayweather, mosley or cotto. i think even clottey is better than cintron

Please not this crap again. Clottey showed just what he was and if Diego comes and is more impressive than Margarito then his grade is even lowered some more. who is Margarito?, but then again I do like that he has decided to face the Punisher his mandatory...

Margarito strikes me as one of those guys who doesn't take the game seriously all the time. He'll lose or struggle against lesser fighters but pull it out for the big challenges, and I think that Williams is one of those challenges.

It could go either way of course, both men are big punchers with clumsy and weak defensive skills.

not another margarito hater....................the world is full of them corrales is going to get koed and like i have always said....................when tony and clottey fought ......if it had been mayweather fighting or anybody else fighting other than margarito .........they would have got ko......but margarito is atough champ........say wut you want about margarito but when he punishes the punisher.........i hope you will GIVE HIM SUM KIND OF CREDIT

Margarito makes a great heavy bag for up and coming fighters with some boxing ability.
