    Is the Margarito hype over??

    Sometimes ago a whas tired of that margarito hype. but it's been a while that i didn't hear the name anymore. what happened ? Did everybody saw that he's not that great fighter?

      thats because everyone saw when he had serious problems with a B level fighter.
      Tony showed how easily he could be outboxed, so him vs Floyd wouldnt even be competitive.

              It wasnt hype as much as people making a case that he was the best option at the time for Floyds next fight.

                The source of this "hype" was the professional Boxing media.

                I have no reason to disagree with the experts.

                Margarito seems pretty dangerous to me..

                  come on. I am not a huge Mayweather fan, but i recognize his abilities. Clottey who isn't in Mayweather's league gave Margarito a challenge and might have even been beaten him until he hurt his hand. Margarito would try to press forward, but the fight would end up looking like the Corrales/Mayweather fight.

                    How could anyone continue to hype Margarito after the terrible performance against Clottey? Most people, even his diehard fans, know that he would have lost that fight had Clottey not injured his hand.

                    The hype may start up again once the Williams fight gets closer...
