come on. I am not a huge Mayweather fan, but i recognize his abilities. Clottey who isn't in Mayweather's league gave Margarito a challenge and might have even been beaten him until he hurt his hand. Margarito would try to press forward, but the fight would end up looking like the Corrales/Mayweather fight.

you can't compare Mayweather to Clottey because they are 2 completely different boxers stylistically and physically, and we all know that styles make fights.

Most people were not over hyping him the just saw that it was a fight that could give mayweather problems since he has size power and workrate like nothing mayweather has ever faced.

There is no way in hell it looks like the mayweather Corrales fight, mayweather wouldn't knock down Margarito in a million years, he doesn't have the power at the weight and we all know Corrales has a very bad chin when it comes to knock downs.

I always knew he was limited as a fighter but felt, and still do, that he could give mayweather major problems but he could also easily get outboxed if mayweather was careful enough. I think he's going to knock williams out since Williams loves to brawl, gets hit a lot and hasn't shown the type of power to stop him, see the Santos Pakau fight. he wasn't exposed in his last fight, Clottey is a good boxer with a style which could give a lot of guys problems, just wait till he gets his hands on Corrales.

Sometimes ago a whas tired of that margarito hype. but it's been a while that i didn't hear the name anymore. what happened ? Did everybody saw that he's not that great fighter?

He's not a bad fighter, but I wouldn't classify him as an elite either. I started disliking the poor guy because of his blind nuthugging fans. The Clottey fight shut many of them up.

I do however favor him against the punisher

thats just the thing. every fighter has few nuthuggers but u gotta look past those and speak with the real fans. i like williams and he would probably beat floyd given a couple more years but i gotta go with my main tony in this one.
