He's beaten everyone they put in front of him and about 95% of the time hes beat them rather easy.

    The Questions!!!!!!!

    1. Do you guys think that Joe Calzaghe realizes hes fought "no one" of any significance in 42 fights ????

    2. Do you guys think that Joe Calzaghe should move up in weight to light heavy or higher(175 lbs) to challenge guys like Hopkins, Tarver,Winky???, Roy Jones, Chad Dawson, Paul Briggs, Adamsek, etc.?????

    3. Do you guys think that if Joe Cal retires without fighting Kessler or any of the big boys at 175lbs that his whole career was a farce????

    Thank You..now time to debate.
    1. No, he knows he fought jeff lacy and lacy isnt a nobody. but other than that, his list of opponents is a joke.

    2. Yes, hes a big enough SMW he could gain a few pounds to move up. and yet throughout his whole career, he never has.

    3. Yes, beating lacy was huge for joe, but if he doesnt fight kessler for the undisputed SMW title and/or if he doesnt fight any serious names at 175, yes his career will be nothing more than a padded title reign.

Kessler is the only guy at 168 worth fighting. After that, there are guys like Woods, Hopkins, Dawson, Johnson, Adamek, Briggs, and so on to be fought at 175.

If Jones can beat Hanshaw, then he would be a viable opponent for Joe.

        First and foremost, there's Kessler.
Typical American. Kessler is only guy worth fighting?????????????????

I can think of one, but im not going to mention him as it might upset Miksterious again.

          Froch is worth fighting.

Not yet though. Not over certain other guys.

You did not read my post correctly. Kessler is the only guy worth fighting at 168. No one else has more to bring to the table for Joe. At 175, there are many fights for Joe.

If Calzaghe is only fighting for another 18 months, then he has no time to waste with guys like Lucian Bute or Carl Froch.

Joe has had a great career already. Guys like Starie, Reid, Woodhall, Lacy, Eubank. These were all good guys that Kessler would have had a lot of trouble with and probably lost a couple of em.
Calzaghe is respected boxer in the history of the sport. Not many will be able to boast of a record like his.
And yes Joe should move up and he will move up.
And no his career isnt a farce. How can it be a farce when there are very few who can boast a record like his?

Yes I did read it correctly. Lucian Bute is waste of time i agree, But Froch is a huge fight and to be honest i think he will knock Calzaghe out. You guys are so blinkered, you dont rate many british fighters, never have. Overhype fighters like Lacy, Gerald McClellen was the muts nut till he got his ass spanked by a brit, Don Curry was future hall of fame what happened to him? Oh he got his ass kicked by a Brit.
There are no fighters from USA that would beat Froch or Calzage or Clinton Woods at 168 or 165. Add Kessler, Inkin. Europeans rule this division.

Froch has agreement with Golden Boy for fights in USA so be ready.
Us hear in Europeland have just as many good fighters as you but boxing is run by TV companies and top matches dont happen. There should be one belt at each weight and champion must fight mandatory every 6 months at least.
If i were a top pro i would want WBC belt.

You are obsessed with this Brit vs U.S. rivalry. Not me.

You are in denial. UK does not have as many top fighters as the U.S. period. That's because we have many hipanics causing panic, blacks, whites, Indians, and whatever. We have a big mix. This is a big country. The UK has some good fighters but if you look at the top ten p4p and top ten in every division...well, you guys do well but not as well as the U.S.

And if that makes you angry and hurts your pro-UK sentiments, please show it in your next post.

Froch has a snowball's chance in hell vs Calzaghe compared to Kessler.

And 165 is not a weight class, buddy. Just thought you should know that.

168 is ruled by Europeans...and? What do I care?

I thought Lacy would win a close fight with Joe. Lots of people did. That's life. We all get some wrong.

Im not angry. first 165 was purely a typo. im not getting into a slagging match with a yank over sport, after all your national sports are laughable.
Football is not football. Soccer is Football. You are the only nation on the planet who call football soccer. It is called American Football, anyway whats with all the padding??? Anyone can fly into a tackle when it doesnt hurt.
Baseball????? World Series?????? Does anyone else in the world play seriously??
It is played in some schools in UK and is called Rounders and our kids dont need Big ****in gloves to catch a ball thats not even that hard. Please tell me why baseball player wear those silly big gloves, to be honest my mum could catch a ball with one of those.
Also who exactly is responsible for P4P ratings??
America has some good golf players but where is the Ryder Cup?? again.
