Whatever a sport is called in another country is an issue to you? If so, I feel bad for you. But really I think you do not care and are just trying to anger me.

Golf is not even a sport to me.

    Moving on.

Only banter buddy, dont take it serious.

Simple. A sport is competition based on skill where score is kept and chance does not play a part.
Therefore Golf is a sport. I take it youve never played. Not as easy as it looks.

I never considered him the best super middleweight in the world. I always thought he was a very good and skillful fighter. Recently its come to eevryones attention that he could be a world beater. I will never call Calzaghe one of the greatest until he beats one of the greatest.

When you have strong beliefs that seem to be unfounded and are shared by a VERY small minority, then you dont really have any place to be calling other people blinkered.

He's a professional. Unless someone goes out there and goes through what he does, they have no grounds for criticism. If he leaves the game with enough money to live comfortably the rest of his life, more power to him.....

Calzaghe is respected boxer in the history of the sport. Not many will be able to boast of a record like his.
And yes Joe should move up and he will move up.
And no his career isnt a farce. How can it be a farce when there are very few who can boast a record like his?
You already answered that question..how are you 42-0 and only fought those guys in your own backyard to add to that..and never fought one ELITE fighter....

Hopkins beat Oscar, Tito, moved up 2 divisions and beat the man at 175 in Tarver.

Winky beat Tito, beat Mosley twice and moved up and "beat" Jermaine Taylor who is the middle weight champion.

Those are "respected boxers in the history of the sport". Who the **** is Joe Calzaghe again?.he follows up beating up Lacy..with Bika and Manfredo...lol..

Jermaine Taylor follows fighting and beating Hopkins twice to fighting Winky Wright.

JT is already a better champion than Calzaghe...so stop it...Boxing historians will crucify Joe they will not let him forget that he stayed at 168, fought a bunch of nobodies iN his own back yard and NEVER fought one elite fighterin 42 fights. digusting.

                BOTTOM LINE.

So you're saying that because Hopkins beat a former lightweight and a former welterweight he has a better resume than Calzaghe, and then you also cite his move up to light heavy to fight Tarver, even though Hopkins did so after more fights than Calzaghe and at an older age?

Based on that rationale then if Calzaghe fights and beats Jermaine Taylor and then moves up and beats Hopkins then his resume is as good, right?

Jt beat Hopkins. Hopkins beat DLH and tito and Tarver. Trying to confusse people with all these names are you! Hopkins wanted to move to lightheavy rather than face Joe.
Jt beating Hopkins doesnt mean he would beat Joe, and Hopkins beating smaller guys like DLH, tito and bigger guys like Tarver dont mean he would beat joe as well. I admit Joe has dithered a bit too much with his career but dont think you are some kind of historian and think you can dictate how he will be remembered. Its got nothing to do with how you want Joe to be remembered! Joe will try and get JT and co so his career aint over till the fat lady sings.
