I think its a close race between Mayweather and Winky. I thought Winky beat Taylor in a close fight and he looked good in that fight. He fought agressive and mixed up punches with a bigger and stronger man, despite not beeing a hard puncher. Anyway if Mayweather wins against Oscar and looks good, first place is his for sure even if Winky beat Hopkins in my book.

You cant minus him though, because he fought Tsyzu and he beat him. You cant change facts just to suit your argument/opinion.

In the past 12 months he's faced two world title holders at different weights and beat them both, whilst remaining undefeated himself, whilst already on the top 10 P4P list.

Please name the other fighters who have done that.

I scored hatton collazo 115-112 to hatton, it wasn't a particularly hard fight to score and hatton both out-worked and out-landed collazo by about 70 punches. Alot of American fight fans who don't like hatton let bias cloud their judgment.

It depends what the judges are looking for..personally i thought Collazo should have won. as Hatton was about ready to go in the last round.

I dont think he should be on p4p list either....at least not until he fights Castillo

Hatton did have the worst of it in the last round but he controlled the pace and direction of the fight while landing significantly more punches throughout. It wouldn't have been a robbery whatever the result because it was a close fight but I had it six rounds to five Hatton with one even, giving Hatton a two point lead including the first round knockdown.

On the other hand while Mosley has looked good against Collazo and Vargas recently, he's still fighting himself back into contention after losses to Winky and Forrest. If anyone devalues the list it's Bernard Hopkins, who has looked incredible in his one win against Antonio Tarver but looked lacklustre in his two preceeding fights against Jermaine Taylor. Then again it's all about ability and potential, not opponents and results. And B-Hop has been near the top of the list for a long time. Hatton has dropped in the list since his fight with Tszyu and rightly so, as his level of opposition and more importantly his performances haven't been befitting of a P4Per, but it would be unfair to drop him from the top ten altogether, especially considering that he's looked bad recently but still won.

"Fairly comfortable decision?" What the hell were you watching. That was a give and take fight which either fighter could have won. What makes Hatton look bad is the way Mosley dismantled Collazo recently and Mosley was a lightweight...

You give Hatton way too much credit for being undefeated. His record is padded. Like I said earlier, you take away the win against Tsyzu and his resume is worse than Cotto's. On talent alone, Hatton gets nowhere near a P4P list.

Moving up one division and beating a paper champion isn't all that impressive. In just the last couple of weeks, the Marquez brothers have each moved up a division and defeated the RING champions at 122 and 130. Beating the man in the division is something significant, not a paper champ.

And regarding moving up divisions, just about every fighter on the current P4P has already done that except Jermain Taylor and Calzaghe. The true P4P fighters not only move up divisions, but they conquer the best one division up. Hatton moved up one division and struggled with a lower top 10 welterweight and decided he'd had enough.

Hatton is an OK fighter, but he is not P4P caliber and it's starting to show now that we've had the chance to see him more...
