billy conn was under 140 pounds when he started fighting, he eventually challenged joe louis for the heavyweight title (gave up 26 pounds).. its not unprecedented for mayweather/taylor to fight or for mayweather to be able to win.. moron

Excuse me who's the moron if its me that fine but i was just saying its an amaseing thing to do if you are able to come out of your original weight and start giving a good account for you self. i knew people had done it like sugar ray leonard duarn jones jr and alike.
They did it because were great but i dont think little mayweather has it in him. Although you will have to explain who billy conn is i dont remeber him fighting louis sorry

im not talking about you.. talkin to dino... i quoted him... he referred to me as a moron for bringing up with the idea, as is 50 percent of the threads on here arent nonsense...

billy conn was the light heavyweight champ who fought louis when louis was 52-1... conn gave up 26 pounds and was winning the fight in the 13th round when he got ****y went for knock out but caught two vicious right hands fro louis and it was goodnight.... like i said, he was less than 140.. maybe even 135 when he began his pro career.. louis a solid 200 pounds when they fought

Floyd needs to beat :Hatton, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley etc.

Taylor needs to beat: MIranda, Abraham, Winky, Calzaghe, Kessler

It's not like these guys don't have a lot of work in their own divisions or weight ranges

like i said in the original posting, floyd doesent care about his business at weltertweight... and he never will.. he already stated DLH is his last fight, not that i believe it, but i certainly dont believe he will go back down to 147 to fight any 2 of those guys you mentioned. when and if he beats DLH he will say that nobody at welter has anything to offer him and his only challenge left is taylor...

taylor can still go back and beat all those guys aftert he fights mayweather since he obviosly is gonna be around for awhile.. and none of them are gonna be easy to get to sign to fight jermain anyhow

            pavlik will beat miranda anyways

A single win over Taylor means 10 times more for PBF's legacy than winning all of those fights combined...

Perhaps but in any case you know Taylor has his work cut out for him at MW and eventually SMW. He doesn't need 'superfights' against welterweights, he needs to establish himself as a convincing champion first. not that he isn't already but there are matchups in which he's not a huge favorite

Spinks had two fights at 154 before getting a middleweight title shot, so why not give one to the P4P best in the sport...it's a true P4P challenge.

Oh, and there would be a lot of intrigue, like the Jones-Ruiz thing, and it would sell well on PPV. Boxing is a business, and as a business PBF-Taylor makes just as much if not more $ense as PBF-Mosley or Cotto. Maybe not Hatton because of the money involved from the other side of the Atlantic...
First of all Mayweather doesn't even have a body frame to be competing with guys like Jermain, 154 is the limit for Mayweather IMO...
He can only go as far as Oscar, that's why he's retiring after that...
I can't imagine Mayweather outpointing Taylor or actually doing any damage to Taylor? Remember Taylor has beat guys like Hopkins, who beat a light heavyweight champ Tarver...
Taylor would manhandle and bully Floyd all night long, it would be kinda sad actually... People have physical limits you know, you guys are stretching it a bit...
