      Nady saw the KD.

      Nady saw the foul.

      What do people think happened?

      What??

It looked like Nady voided the KD because of the foul.

He gestured his arms across his body facing Juan Manuel on the boards.

Ok, let's say he didn't see the KD.

      HOW OFTEN DOES THAT HAPPEN????????????????????

All the ****ing time. That's how often it happens..

      Let's all watch this again.

      He saw everything.

Either way - BARRERA is the one to blame.

He could have cost himself the fight.

        yea but

        in all honesty

i had 200 riding on Marquez to earn 174 and some change, when I saw that punch land and him lose his balance, my neighbors heard me yell "nooo!!!!"

        and also in all honesty

I thought that barrera won that fight.

counting the knockdown, and forgetting about the point deduction, that is.

            Please elaborate.

Most people have already agreed Juan Manuel won either way.

            Bad scoring, KD or not.

That just isnt true, I dont think so anyway having sampled the boards in different places.

                - A few think Marquez won easy
-a few think Barrera got robbed
-Most think it was a one or two round fight
-About 60-70% reckon it was close but Marquez worked that bit harder and deserved it (im in this category, with the KD and deduction neutralising each other, just like the judges 10-9 marquez))
-30-40% reckon Barrera won it by a point or two

That aint really clear cut! There can definitely be a case made for a draw or a one point Barrera win, the fight wasnt that clear cut! I agree that Marquez was throwing more, but the stats were very close, Barrera rammed the jab home well! On second viewing of the fight, I actually thought Barrera was blocking quite a lot as well!

For me Marquez connected the better power punches and that did it for him! He turned it on down the stretch! But it was close!

And how many of the Barrera percentage are just whining fans?

Let's all watch this one again this weekend and talk again on monday..

haha ! Yeah I agree, damn its great when fights are controversial. Just gonna say, I watched Rounds 1-4 on youtube with the sound down, and I was trying hard to watch what was landing etc! 1st time round I had it 2-2! This time I gave the 1,2 and 4th to Barrera, Marquez landed a peach in round three! Anyway.......peace out!

exactly if Marquez was hurt bad by the illegal punch a dq would have been appropriate that said Nady has a long history of **** ups and shady ref work he should be reprimanded for his consistent screwing of the pooch
