    Let's talk about Jay SHADY

Ok first off. He was in perfect position to see that knockdown. Why the hell did he rule it a slip. 2nd off. Once Barrera dropped Marquez, why the hell didn't he immediately jump in to get Barrera to the neutral corner? Instead he waits there to let Barrera; who is suppose to keep fighting until someone tells him otherwise, hit Marquez. Then he decides to call it a no knockdown and deduct a point. Was such bull****. I'm tellin you, a lot of shady **** last night, and I think GBP has something to do with about 95% of it.

Oh yeah, i'd like to add, Hahah, Marquez keeps getting owned after going down. First Manny, and now Barrera, LoL.

I'm not sure he was in perfect position to see it as a KD. I think he might've thought Marquez swung and missed and his momentum took him to the canvas. He should've stepped in sooner, tho.

Jay Nady's decision was obviously rather arbitrary. He should have disqualified Barrera.

I don't think he should have disqualified him. It was on his own self as well that he didn't jump in fast enough to get Barrera off him. The moment Marquez fell down, he shoulda jumped in there. What was Barrera gonna do? If the ref isn't jumping in and he sees Marquez down though not really, should he back off and let Marquez get back up and give up the opportunity if the ref isn't in there? Shady was day dreaming.

While Nady made a "mistake" in not counting the knockdown, Barrera's not new to boxing.. Marquezs' gloves are on the canvas = no punching, period. Also, HBO made way to big a deal over it.. and it wouldn't have made a difference in the outcome of the fight as we heard as the scorecards were read

Jay Nady is the worst ref period.. This time is just another **** up in a long list of **** ups..
He is medelesome and gets involved way too much when he shouldn't.. and when he should he is no where

And I will never forgive his Blowing Floyd before the Baldomir fight..

Seeing Nady get the big assignments make me hate Mitch Halpern for killing himself. He would be the one getting the big assignments. Nady letting Fernando Vargas get plastered against Trinidad ruined Vargas' career. Nady likes the spotlight too much.

lets not put the blame on Nady, remember if boxing had instant replay enforced then we would,nt be making forums about this

if I were a judge on that round I would have scored it 9-8 for marquez
9-9 even for the knocked down and barrera lossing the whole round till that point, but the one point for hitting after a knockdown

exactly, besides, all 3 judges scored it 10-9 for marquez so what the **** are Barreras defenders bitching about!!!!
