    LOL what a joke.
You cant pass the torch to anyone, because Taylor took it from you.
    What a conceded statement.

I had Taylor winning both Hopkins fights. In the first fight there are seven rounds that I saw very clearly going to Taylor. That means Taylor wins the fights. Hopkins inflicted more damage in the fight overall, yes, but none of those late rounds that Hopkins won warrants a 10-8 round, so Taylor wins. I don't care if one judge gave the 12th round to Taylor when he shouldn't have, because the fact that one of the judges had the first 8 rounds even is as or more ridiculous.

Taylor won the second fight more convincingly IMO, so as far as I'm concerned Taylor took the torch and didn't need no torch passed to him.

Absolutely. What a prick. I've got a lot of respect for Hopkins, but Taylor beat him at least once in their fights, I had him winning both. Dont try and cover it up, Bernard, Taylor is the champion and there's nothing you can do about it apart from maybe fight Taylor and beat him, but you already tried that twice and it didnt work

I agree he actually took the 2nd fight but both were so close how could anyone say he "Took" the torch?Thats just Ludacris. Also Winky beat him more convincingly than he beat Hopkins either time so all that **** goes out the window.Winky is actually the Champ.....he took that **** from Taylor.

and I respect them both, although I hold hopkins a little higher. that man deserves more respect than anyone else in the sport. handles his biz, roid free, no out of ring troubles. only PR's hate him for tossing their flag.
lol, hopkins would have lost too miranda? miranda would get knock out, while trying too jump on hopkins. Hopkins fought better fighters, like tarver, trinidad, jones(even if he lost too him)...

Hopkins retired, tearfully, telling Larry Merchant it was the last time they'd be seen together like that, etc. Most of us bought it. Any boxer who does the retire, come back, retire, come back shtick can also pass the torch to three or four guys. I wouldn't doubt if he passes the torch to Miranda and then it ends up, a few months or years down the road, being passed yet again, in another interview, to someone else. That gap-toothed villain. Haha. You have to love B-Hop.

Your probably right if B-Hop was fighting Miranda he wouldn't be saying that. It shows though that B-Hop must see something in Miranda. Thats a pretty good endorsement from a future hall of famer.

We all know that Miranda's boxing skills are not the greatest. His punching power, heart, and determination make him the fighter he is today. Even if you don't like Miranda you had to like the way he tried to finish the fight against Allan Green. I hope he gets his shot at Taylor so he can prove people wrong. With a victory over Taylor maybe his critic's would quiet down a little.

If Bernard can teach him a thing or two, such as making him better in boxing or decisions Pantera is gonna be practically unstoppable. Pantera is only gonna get better once he gets older. Bernard reminds me of The Game for some reason.
