While I do beleive that Holyfield has abused steriods over the years,Dwight's comments seem ridiculous and bitter to me.Many fighters have found their second wind in tough fights before, without the use of steriods.I admit that I am however interested in watching the fight again, and trying to see the difference in Holyfield between the fourth and fifth rounds.Btw,do they mean that Evander lost 15 pounds during the actual fight Is that common?

Now Holyfield is dry snitching on Mike Tyson. And here I am over here defending him and he pulling a crab move on Mike. Yall might be right, he prolly is or was juicing and now he trying to pull someone elses down with him. When will this crab mentality stop?

hello? not all steroids are detectable and they can be cycled in a way to avoid detection. why do you think morrison and admitted steroid user passed every test? case unclosed

In fact, some, including a current Hall of Famer and former Holyfield opponent, allege that Evander was anything but real and say that his link to an Alabama pharmacy accused of selling steroids is proof.

In an exclusive interview last week, International Boxing Hall of Famer Dwight Muhammad Qawi said he had reason to believe that Holyfield was a “cheater” and felt vindicated in reports linking Holyfield to the pharmacy suspected of selling steroids. Qawi, who fought and lost to Holyfield twice in his career, suspects that Holyfield has used performance-enhancing drugs throughout his career, including before and during their legendary 15-round war in Atlanta, GA in 1986. Moreover, Qawi said that he’s been on record for years stating that he believed that Holyfield gained an unfair edge in their 1986 bout thanks to the use of steroids. [details]

Boxing today is populated by the most disgusting collection of ******* and perverts one could possibly imagine. Nowhere in the scientific literature is it claimed that steroids have any instantaneous effect. This is just the kind of crap you see on the movies then some half-wit like Qawi believes it. He just can't accept that Hoyfield was better that day, that Hoyfield had the style to beat him, that Hoyfield was a great boxer. There have been thousands of instances where a man reachs down and finds the energy inside himself to fight on. Boxing is 90% mental, the energy is there you just need the strength of mind to find it. Steroids didn't create Holyfield talent nor did it develop his boxing skills. It is simply laughable to think that hand lotion spiked with steroids could energize a man between the 4th and 5th round!

they just had to be "the greatest" and steroids were their way of pushing themselves farther than ever before..... and they believe in their hearts that sine other guys were doing it there was nothing wrong with them following suit

saying they didnt need them is true, but they were addicted to the success and physical gains... once you start you dont stop, especially if you can afford it

holyfield, obviously to be fighting at 44.. liek bonds playing at 44..... that can only be achieved with the juice.

hell tennis players are spent at 30.... no way you can box at 44 without a little help
              it is style dependant.

I think the accusation is that Holyfield's drink was laced with coke or some other illegal substance that would give him an energy boost.
