Have you ever seen a referee break guys apart when they're in a clinch? I see it just about every fight because it's against the rules and you can be penalized for extensive holding.

Now, have you ever seen a referee put two fighters together because one is choosing to use the ring and his ability to move to his advantage? I've never seen that in my life. That's the difference...

The thing is PBF would be running.... so sorry.... i meant use the ring and his ability to move so much against Hatton, Hatton wouldnt be hugging or clinching him.
Can you imagine what type of fight it would be if Hatton just stood on the spot and refused to follow PBF around the ring. The ref would definately call them together for action.

See, the fact that you think that is a witty comeback shows how moronic you are.

Can you post on more than two boxers? Cos every day it's Hatton this, Floyd that, and it's as boring as ****. You crap on this forum every time you post with your uneducated drivel.

I'll give you this, though... your new sig is funny.

I've seen referees telling fighters who were just running to fight before, yeah.

Who would you class as an "elite fighter"? And what are your criteria for classing a fighter as such? I mean Kostya Tsztyu was about as elite as they come before Hatton dismantled him...

The problem with Hatton's style is that it's become a pattern in his last few fights. Not that it makes him less of a fighter in terms of his ranking or anything like that, it's just painful to watch.
This I would have a hard time disagreeing with. The difference between, say, Round 2 and round 9 against Urango is incredible, even if Hatton won 11 rounds. Too much holding is not fun to watch.

Agreed (I agree with the guy you were quoting too). But then, too much running/avoiding the action is not fun to watch either.

I watched the Urango fight and i didnt see much spoiling tactics anyway. There was more in the way of punching from Hatton because that is how you score points. Hatton won quite a few rounds and this is from punching i would imagine, and not holding.

Yeah, Hatton looked good in the early rounds but in the late rounds he clearly hugged excessively. Why does he have to resort to that when he clearly outclassed Urango?
