Duran had a great defense... Hatton doesnt even have a defense...

Notice how easy it is to go up in weight if you have a great defense protecting you

That was probably the greatest win in the history of British Boxing.
Do you really believe that? What do you think Kostya would say?" I'm past it, but I'm here for the money". Please.

If that was the greatest win in British Boxing, well I fell sorry for you guys.

Hattons next performance at that weight if he chooses to box at that weight might be phenomenal. You should judge a boxer at how they perform at their best. He performed pretty good against Kostya so we know for sure what he is capable of. He beat Collazo anyway and is unbeaten, so why cant he be a p4p guy. Guys who lose have in the past retained p4p status.

He dropped back down in weight because he can easily make the weight. When he trains hard, he falls down to that weight. Will he box again at 147? He probably will! And dont go on about dropping down in weight. He can so easily step up again, and this time properly if a fight becomes available that is worthwhile. He knows in his mind what he did wrong first time around.
If Hatton believed he could handle 147, he would have stayed there. That's where all the big fights are. There is nothing at 140. Even Chico Corrales didn't waste his time and went straight to welter...

I find it funny that Hatton hasn't been able to duplicate anything resembling his performance against Tsyzu since...

Mayweather outgrew 140? The same guy who walks around at 150? The same guy who fought at WW weighing 145/146? The same guy who eats cheeseburgers at pre-fight interviews because he can? Argue your point, but don't make **** up. If Floyd had taken the "Hatton" route, he'd be fighting at 135 and you'd still think he was too small to win at a higher weight. and you're arguing that Hatton, a guy who gets up to 180 hasn't outgrown 140?

Well Castillo is a big one and it is at 140. Cotto probs is 147, so he will step up and isnt wasting time because he has Castillo first. He will probs have time to step up to Cotto or even PBF becasue it wont be a rush decision like against Collazo.

The thing is Hatton has been doing enough to win. He was the underdog against Kostya and wasnt supposed to win but he showed he can raise his game when called upon to do so.
He has been beating who has been put in front of him, so there is no need to be duplicating his perfromance against Tsyzu. We know he can raise his game. Put PBF in with Hatton and we will see if he can raise his game again. He might have to.

Hey common dude that's a very lousy line of arguement.

The two may have an exact body but everything inside is different. The kidney, the heart, the intestine, the metabolism and everything else, including the brain which makes everything else insde function. That's very elementary. You cannot fault Hatton if his body cannot tolerate constant changes in weight like all other fighters do.

SRL, Hearn, Duran or Pacquaio are them. Hatton is Hatton and all fighter are bounded by physical limitations. So never expect anybody to do or accomplish all the things that the other can do.

                    Question:

Is the Castillo fight the last fight for Hatton under his 3 fight deal with HBO?
