This fight will only happen if Hatton steps up to 147. The fight is not up to Arum, its up to Hatton to take it. I'd love to see them fight, should be a good one. Cotto better get a good training on clinching, this wont be an easy fight for neither one.

That's a good point, I was watching the urkal fight & I could'n't help but notice how pissed Cotto was getting due to headbutting & clinching(& the clinching wasn't even that much), in one of the mid rounds he refused to touch gloves & later he just picked Urkal off his feet. If Hatton decides to clinch like a mad man Cotto might toss him into the stands

He better relax in there and take it easy, Hatton has a bit of power, and could make you pay. In the long run, I think Cotto's gonna take him down with body punches.

it's all about weight, I think at 140 Hatton is a threat, but i don't see why Cotto would kill himself to make that weight again. & at 147 i honestly think Cotto would eat Hatton alive.

@147 Its Cotto everyday of the week! And thats the only weight this fight will happen @ coz Cotto has repeatedly stated he cant make weight no more! Hatton is real good - very underated on this forum but Cotto is just all round the better fighter

Cotto looked like he was on the verge of cardiac arrest at the weigh in for his last couple of fights at 140. Its impossible.

Agreed. No way Cotto goes back to 140, I don't care who or how much.

Hatton vs. Cotto at 147 is all Cotto IMO. Hatton is best suited at 140 and the only 147 fight that makes sense for him is in fact Mayweather. It's too bad that there was never a Hatton-Mayweather 140 fight.

                    Great news.
Why? What happened to him fighting Margarito next? Did Urkal show Arum that Cotto still isn't ready or something.
