It makes me laugh when people talk about losing to Marco Antonio Barrera like it's something to be ashamed of.

Exactly. I am a Naseem fan but a fan of his in the ring. Whatever he does outside the ring is his business. I dont really give a ****. I just thought in the ring he was the funniest and one of the best boxers ever.

It is since Hamed was expected to hand Marco his ass. He had everything planned for a victory. He purposely picked that date, which was the end of Lent and a very holy weekend for Catholics all over the world. He wanted to defeat a Christian. He lauded Islam before the fight began. He made a religious and political platform for his beliefs. Fight fans don't care about that. We wanted to see a fight.

No. He made us wait an extra hour. He flew down to the ring on a t****ze. After each round, he would stop and look at Marco as if he won the round.

**** him. And I believe it was Michael Carbajal that was the first "little man" to earn a million dollar fight.

But is Michael Carbajal the reason why featherweights get paid so much today? I dont think so.

He could have made us wait another 4 hours for his gloves to fit right, would not matter. He could have flown into the ring in a helicopter, that wouldn't make him a better fighter than Marco. He could have had an Imam pray with him in the ring about Islam, he would have still lost to the Christian.

            Marco>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>prince rat faced Hamed
So a fighters prime is determined by their age?

            Good one.

I dont remember Hamed ever saying he wanted to beat a christian??
I know he became more and more loud about Islam and Allah, but to me that was just Hamed being Hamed. Trying to piss everyone off and be an arrogant prick.
Id like to see or read where u heard this stuff from.

This is one of those days I wish I had made a hard copy of the article I read. But the information came from one of his own people. Else I wouldn't be rambling about it. It was a little su****ious that he would be praising Allah that night when i don't ever recall him doing that before a major title fight.
