You never have good input on a thread, ever, no wonder you're red.

America isn't the mecca of boxing, but if he wants to win over American fans he should fight there. Europe is practically dominating 168 and up, for reasons other than money and American boxing fans, why SHOULD they have to leave?

I'm not saying that they shouldn't, because I think fighting around the world does add alot to the character and legacy of a fighter (Ahem, American fighters, you take notice too), but Calzaghe is the man at 168, technically people should come to him.

It'd be an even fight, I can see either of them getting KO'd.

Yeah Froch has a chance in this one; this adietheforesta cat though is a little too big on Froch, as are Welter and a few others. Froch is a bit of hype, second right now only to Miranda I think in the category of "hyped punchers guaranteed to look amateurish as soon as they face a boxer." Froch's name should not be said in the same sentence as the Welsh division king's name.

Old bastard Hopkins will keep running away from Joe till he is 1000 years old. Jermain Taylor is an average MW-MF with good looks and HBO behind him. Joe would kick his damn hyped ass so badly. The same thing with Winky "zzZZZzzzZ" Wright.

Well there aren't too many on here that I know of would disagree as far as Calzaghe being favored against Taylor or Hopkins right now. That's not anyone's question I don't think. Although to call Taylor average is a bit of a stretch. He's very good.

I think out of any top fighter today, Taylor is the easiest fight for Calzaghe, which is why I'm hoping they get to fight.

I'm not saying he's a bad fighter, but as far as styles go.. Calzaghe would hurt Taylor.

But you Fat Yanks can't have it both ways. One minute it's "we don't give a **** about Cal***gy" the next it's "why hasn't he come over to the States?"

Why would a world champ travel to a country that doesn't (didn't) want him?
                  LOL Annie come on.
Im a boxing fan first and Joe has the potential to make some huge fights if he crosses the pond.
And in my opinion on of the reasons Americans dont like him as much is because he HASNT made the move.
I would give him alot more respect if he did.
Hatton made the move, and now hes in line for a superfight.

Just picture Ouma being a natural super middleweight, with more power and speed, better defense and natural reflexes.

He would have dominated Taylor, which is near enough what Calzaghe is and will do. Shove that up your ass, DiegoFuego.

Yet Hatton gets no respect at all, Joe wouldn't either.
