I really don't care either, just give me quality fights.

Chris Byrd was a Champion and went to Germany to defend the title against Wlad, did I complain, NO. Fighters go where the money is, and that is the way it is, and should be. Now, some fighters understand by taking "short-money" now, to fight a "A" list guy, can make you vasts amounts later with a victory, but other seem to not understand that concept or are not confident enough to take that chance.

I also have to say this, the fight between Byrd and Wlad came off well; it was a good experience and I wouldn't mind seeing something like that again.

I wouldn't mind seeing more fighters from the States go fight overseas. Tyson was one of the biggest names in this sports history, and fought outside of the States. Many "American" Champions have fought outside of the States, so lets not act like American Fighters don't leave; the money is just to great here not to want to stick around.

Calzaghe is being a crybaby. He only wants Hopkins for the $. He wont fight Kessler, Tarver or even Glen Johnson for that reason. I like him as a fighter but he is dodgy as hell. I bet he wouldnt even fight Winky, and damn sure he wouldnt fight Miranda. I remeber what byron mitchell did to him.

He might as well fight Kessler or there will always be an argument as to who was better. I wouldn't want this question to be part of my legacy.

It is very clear that Jones ducked a fight with Calzaghe and he said as much in an interview on the BBC. Last year Calzaghe offered him another fight which Jones would have accepted if the price was right. Apparently Jones still thinks he is the 10 million dollar man. Sadly the fans don't think so. Jones priced himself out of the market against Hopkins too.

He isnt crying though, nor particularly complaining. He's happy with what he's done in his career. If you'd read the article, you'd have realised that.

Sadly within 9 posts you've already become like so many of the other trash posters here.

their resume is still better than joe. don't get me wrong joe is a good fighter no doubt and i would pick him over taylor (although i would be going for taylor) but even at 41 i would take nard over joe and winky over joe.

Same here. I think Winky would give him the most trouble...

Winky is a great fighter, but he just isn't big enough to beat Joe. Winky is a great southpaw, but Joe is a southpaw whirlwind. Joe's attacks from all angles would break through Winky's defence.

Bernard would be the tougher test as 'nard is a top class counterpuncher with top notch ring smarts and is dirtier than the twisted lovechild of Evander Holyfield's sister and Ricky Hatton (i.e. he is a dirty son of a *****). I had Bernard beating Taylor both times and have respect for him and his accomplishments Maybe Joe is a bit fresher though and is certainly faster and probably has the better skills. Tough fight to call.

Calzaghe would beat Hopkins on activity alone. He's too old...
