Anyone who watched The battle of cebu on the Filipino channel knows Gorres should have won. Gorres was landing his straight left all through the fight. Also what is wrong with holding on when your hurt, heavyweights do it all the time and they don't get points taken away.

I knew Montiel won before I watched it and gave him every benifit of the doubt while watching the fight on TFC just awhile ago. Early rounds I was saying that this fight could go either way. When Z turned it up a notch in the mid rounds and straight schooled montiel up till the 11th I thought there is no way montiel won the fight. Straight up robbery if you ask me. Thats boxing though what can you do. Corrupt ass ref, corrupt ass judges. **** thats boxing.

well.... tough luck for Z.... i wasn't surprised with the deision... starting rd 10 Z was very tentative and it was Montiel who's pushing the action... some of the first 9 rounds were close and could have gone the other way...

its available in the *******S now. check it out. It was a tactical fight. I love Gorres style he is very technical and slick. He schooled Montiel and messed Montiel's face very badly.

The first clinch in the 10th round should have been a warning, not a deduction point. So, the score should be 114-113(correct?).

Also, i have seen fights like that with a lot of clinching but no deduction of points.
