You were lucky to escape with your life on this one.

Why don't da Brit's and Euro's want ta fite in da States? We treat dem fare, like we did with da Lacy fight, or da Louis-Holyfield, or Storm-Hoya, or all da fare judging's on last nite's Vegas card. Dey is too scared to fite. LMAO, pwn!

this debate about who goes and fights where or should be fighting where is as old as any debate about religion, politics, or ********.

both sides have valid points but the end all be all is guys are going to fight where they get the most money, plain and simple. and when it comes to having world champs fight where? the promoters are going to see that their fighter holds onto the belt the longest because they want to milk it for more money. the promoters are the ones who call the shots when it comes to **** like that, they are the ones hoarding the belts and the fighters. no one wants to budge and no one wants to play fair or give a little and when one side does negotiate and does come to terms in going abroad anything short of a KO goes against the visitor unless it's just the beating of a lifetime.

all i'm saying you can't really blame the fighters, you have to put the focus and the pressure on the promoters and the people invloved in picking the site of the fight.

now as a whole unless you're a calzaghe or a hatton, or even kessler, mayweather, DLH, etc. you make great money fighting at home, but if you're not the idea is to come to the united states and try and make it big. universally that is what fighters are trying to do make it big, and in doing so they come to USA the land of opportunity, if you're not a star where you're from there is a chance to make more money here in the states as a whole then in other places around the world, and that's plain fact.

fighters leave their countries never to go back or even defect(obviously a good choice if you have to) to come and try and make it. thats what they try and do in the states more than anywhere else, is they try and make the next star. that is the main focus of all promotions here, they try to find the next big thing, and while that is happening people and fighters from all over the world come here to give it a shot. and since it's like that, that is why most of the stuff takes place in the US because there is money to be generated even in the beginning when guys are up and comers.

you have big fight cards here and other fighters try and make it on the undercard, it's like a comic being a feature, it's good to be on a big headliners show, even if you're opening up and only get 10 minutes of stage time, like getting a 4,6,8,10 round fight. if the big money and exposure fight card is going to be telecasted all over the globe wouldn't you want to be on it if you were a fighter? just for that little bit of exposure?

there just seem to be more exposure here in the states then in other place and supposedly the talent pool is better over here because this is where people from all over the world come to try and make it. just like the USA itself everybody from all over the world comes here and have been since the beginning of the country to try and make a better life because there is more opportunity...........................
