These are world title - why should all the big fights be in the states?

Why should American boxers always have an advantage? Shouldnt there be a rule that world title fights have to be evenly distributed around the world. So, if a guy holds the WBC title, he can first defend it in his hometown, then the hometown of his mandatory. Then he can go back home, then away again. It seems crazy that Las Vegas and New York are seen as the only places that a really big fight can take place. Why not Australia, or the UK, or France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Africa, the United Arab Emirates?! I mean, this is WORLD boxing, not US boxing. Boxing is dying and this would undoubtedly be a way to bring it to a bigger, global audience.

They aren't all in the states. They take place all over the globe.

Boxing used to be a pre-dominantly U.S. sport, but things have changed. Now they are all over.

Miranda vs Abraham - Miranda got screwed (fight in EU)

Lacy vs Tsypko - Tsypko got screwed (fight in US)

That's why...US fighter will get screwed in EU and EU fighter will get screwed in US.

Uh if we screw outside fighters, then how did Trinidad get a W against De La Hoya?

The United States is the greatest country in the world. Great things happen here. End of thread.

Miranda hardly got screwed, the five point deductions were ridiculous, but even without them he would have lost. Tsypko-lacy was a hometown robbery of the highest degree.
This is a good thread btw. European fighters are criticised for not leaving their own country, but when was the last time the likes of Mayweather, taylor, hopkins etc. left the united states??

Ben Rabah is Australian and Urango is Mexican so that's irrelevant
Lewis did not lose to Holyfield, he got a draw and everyone in the arena disagreed
Bush getting into office is a lot better than a faker like John Kerry. I'll take Bush over any of those ******* pansies any day of the week.
