1st of all you big dubmy, floyd wiped the floor with corley. yeah, corley rocked floyd a little bit, but floyd bounced back quickly and floyd rocked corley all night. and his post didn't sum up ****, because anybody who calls a fan a nuthugger shouldn't post because they lose any chance they had of credibility with that ****** word. he used it, so his post has has no credibility. then he goes off and says oscar can hit floyd and hurt him which is true seeing as though can means able, and everybody can do something, and with that notion, people claim that floyd can't hurt oscar, which is totally untrue seeing as though can't means not able and everyone can do something to another person. people seem to underestimates floyd's power. floyd can punch with the best of them, trust me and he has a solid chin, but he lives off of that motto, the less you get hit, the longer you last in the sport of boxing, and just because he doesn't stand there and let people hit him(which you're not supposed to do anyway) doesn't take away from his punching. he pot-shot against baldomir because imo carlos had an awkward style and floyd didn't know what to really expect from him, so he won the best he could and put on another dominating peformance. floyd has the will to win, and win he does, the best way he knows how to. when will you dumbasses realize that and when will you realize that floyd is going to punish oscar? i'll answer that for you, as i know you won't give me the answer that i want to hear(a.k.a. the truth). you will realize that on may 5th, 2007 in the main event, just watch and see.

no floyd can't hurt oscar, he won't land the hundreds of punches he'd need to put dlh on the canvas. if oscar can take a true middleweights punch like felix sturm or a light heavyweight's - bhop, pbf is not gonna knock him out. dlh is a very skilled boxer and naturally bigger and stronger than pbf, floyd has slowed down a lot with the extra weight. i think pbf will be surprised at how hard it is to hit dlh clean, this fight won't be won by knockout, it will be won by who looks like they're winning the fight. i think because pbf is young he can squeak out an ugly win, but a young dlh would cut off the ring and be the bigger stronger man and catch pbf with hard counterpunches, maybe even stop him late

It will be interesting to see what game plan DLH comes with. If he waits around like he did against Mosley II, the fight is Floyds. The more punches he throws the better the fight will be for DLH.

If Zab had 1/4 Oscar's Heart he would have won that fight. Zab was faster than Floyd. Floyd couldn't stop Zab so he isn't going to stop Oscar.

if if was a 5th we'd all be drunk. if zab did this, this would have happened. wake up little boys and girls, if means nothing compared to did or has done or is doing. if i was girl i'd have a vagina. i mean stop with the if's already people. zab did knock down floyd but somebody above mentioned that zab seemed scared. why do you think this? because maybe floyd took the shot well after he stumbled and didn't let it shatter his confidence. hell the knockdown was in rd 2 and zab hit floyd with a nice left straight in rd 4, but floyd has a heart of a champion and he perserveerd and changed his gameplan a little bit, adjusted to zab and fought a smart fight for the rest of the fight, and there's no if about it. if zab had oscar's heart my ass. if zab had oscar's heart then he probably wouldn't be zab would he. he'd be de la hoya. the poster above mentions that zab was faster than floyd and he only has 26 posts so i'll take it easy on him for right now. zab may have been faster but he wasn't smarter and smarts wins fights doesn't it? corrales hit harder than floyd but he damn sure wasn't smarter. the same goes for gatti, genaro hernandez, baldomir, corley, and everybody who has fought floyd in the past. size, speed, and power doesn't matter if you don't have the smarts to use them effectively to beat your opponent, and floyd hasn't proven that theory do be incorrect yet as he has been smarter than every opponent he has faced, that's why his record stands tilted to the left. he hasn't lost or had a draw in any of his fights. and come may 5, he record will not start to shift to the middle or to the right, because he will defeat oscar de la hoya, guaranteed.

I doubt that Mayweather could put Oscar in serious trouble. He might be able to stun him but whether he would actually be able to get him on the ropes and look like stopping him I seriously doubt. Oscar has very fast hands and is a very accurate fighter, so I see no problem in him hitting Mayweather. But I think the size thing may be over rated - both started at super feather, and whilst Oscar has boxed up at middle he was not that succesful. Having said that, he did give Hopkins problems, and I think he will undoubtedly give Floyd problems. Plus Oscar will want this fight, probably more than he has wanted any fight for years. I have been siding with Mayweather on points for this, but I am slowly starting to think Oscar could do it. I do think that he should have taken a warm up first (could you imagine Oscar on the undercard at an ESPN show in an eight rounder!! that woulda been nuts. Not that it was ever a possibility) in order to shake off some of the inevitable ring rust. Floyd won't have that problem as much. I think this is a real 50/50 fight. Oscar is the best fighter Floyd has ever fought, and quite possibly Floyd is the best Oscar has ever fought.

Oscar will hit Floyd, but just won't hit him well enough to take him out.
That's one of Floyd's specialties, making a puncher take a lot off of his shots, in hopes of just landing something.

I don't see Floyd hurting Oscar with any single punch. But, I can see him busting Oscar up, & possibly taking out a discouraged, fatigued, & aged multi-millionaire.....later in the fight.
