While I'd much rather see the Castillo fight, I don't see why hatton is getting stick for fighting his mandatory. If you want to blame anyone blame the IBF.

I can see your point, but Hatton was forced into this to an extent, and probably wants to hold onto a belt for longer than 5 minutes. I wish he'd just fight Castillo, but everyone has to defend against a mandatory sooner or later. I'm pretty annoyed that Hatton has to fight against N'dou or Rabah to retain his belt though, I was really looking forward to a Castillo fight in June.

i dont see the problem........isn't hatton still fighting castillo in november ? now we get to see hatton fight 3 times in one year. when was the last time a top 10 p4p fighter did that ?

do not get me wrong, i would have loved to see hatton drop the ibf belt and go to war with castillo, a little earlier but sadly the ibf stuck their noses in.

hatton fighting 3 times in a year ( including castillo ) beats the hell out of hatton fighting twice in a year ( castillo included ) to me.
