    Actually man, he did.

However, I think it shoul be taken with a pinch of salt. He said to to ITV, which is one of the biggest terrestrial broadcasters in the UK. De La Hoya can charm people by saying this kind of thing. Obviously, even the mention of Hatton being able to make that kind of money is going to change his decisions. De La Hoya cannot be relied upon to stick to decisions like that, but if it were to happen, it would NOT be in England - the size of a De La Hoya fight would not allow it.

Remember Tszyu was Oscar's dream finale fight, and Oscar was Tszyu's dream finale fight, only they overlooked Ricky Hatton (Tszyu only took that fight for the payday).

And I know for a fact that Hatton was very close to signing for Golden Boy in a contract that would include a possible match with Oscar himself, but chose that fat Italian guy instead (Art something?).

I don't believe anything from ITV, in my opinion it's all BS!

The article is about Hatton/Castillo and you're arguing about Hatton/De La Hoya? What's wrong with you people?

No problem with me if it's moved back to November. That will give Castillo more time to get back in shape. He can make another tune up fight before they meet.

This really makes no sense. To fight in the UK. Makes no difference that Hatton will sell out the City of Manchester stadium, this fight will make more money in the USA.
