(I do NOT like watching Vitali style AT ALL, but he was the best of the current bunch IMO). the only difference among them is that wlad has an entire tribe of huggers, like you.

also i would add that I am very respectful of the Klits being educated, polite and well spoken individuals.

go on putting ****** smilies in your posts, and ask yourself the following questions.

why among all the fighters from the 90s I mentioned, NO ONE had THREE KO LOSSES (to a journeyman and two fighters which can optimistically be described as good) in their youth? why NO ONE gassed out/underestimated his opponent chin/got caught THREE times?
because all the above mentioned guys were mentally tougher than wlad but wlad seems to have improved in that area. time will tell

i heartily agree on that, a fighter's career should not be evaluated until he is retired/past his prime, but you have to understand that given current evidence (ie: past performances) picking most of the above-mentioned against wlad is not hating, it is just looking at past performances.

also, look how far lewis went, with a not-so-great chin!

1924-1936 was like the worst era in the history of heavyweight boxing. There was no title match in 24, 25, 29 and 36. In 1928 u got to see tunney defend his belt against a nobody, o wow.

fair enough. there's every bit as many haters on here as there are huggers so I accidently jumped the gun with you. those above mnetioned guys would have been tough for wlad,,,espescially lewis. holyfield would have been interesting,,,would the size and strength differential been too much for him? or would he have got inside the big jab and worn the bigger man out? tough one to call ,,as would have been bowe. bowe never really faced a guy in his pro career his own size that was as athletic as say lewis or wlad. would wlad have been able to catch him and knock him out with the right or would bowe's much better inside game have been too much and worn wlad down? we'll never know for sure unfortunately,,,,I think he'd have boxed tua's ears off and beat him easily as tua always struggled with big men with long jabs and just doesnt throw enough punches. a prime tyson would have been a nightmare for wlad and probably would have stopped him early. yes,,, that was a much tougher era for sure

The heavyweight division will always be the most important division in the sport. The more talented and busy the heavyweights are, the better the sport will do financially.
