I'm not hatin' I respect Vitali & he's has every right to keep fighting, but what I think would be the best thing for boxing would be unification, every fight involved on that road would draw more & more attention(& fans) to the division, all leading to a mega-bout to crown the unified HW champion. If Vitali & Wlad are both champs(which is more a matter of "when" then "if") & even if the both end up with 2 titles, the mega-bout will never take place. For me personally the Hw division had more potential before Vitali threw his hat in the ring.
Who do you WANT to see fight Maskaev?

Um You all are fools if you think the Klitschkos won't fight eachother for the unification. It would possibly be one of the biggest draws in yrs and tons I MEANS TONS of revenue! I gaurentee they eventually fight if they both hold two straps! I don't give no phuk what they say...it would and will happen!
Oh btw Sam should gets Maskaev first and the winner fight Vitali.. Im not so sure Sam can win against Maskeav.Comment

The WBC should honor its title shot its granted to Peter before allowing Vitali to get his shot first. And besides, why doesn't Vitali fight a tune-up before jumping into a title fight at the championship level. I think that this makes more sense, since in the past, Vitali has suffered numerous injuries which delayed his title defenses when he held the belt.
IMO, the best case scenario is, if Peter is granted his shot against Maskaev; wins the WBC title; and then defends it against Vitali.
Vitali was granted "Champion Emeritus" before Peter ever earned his shot, so technically, it's Peter who needs to wait in line.Comment

Incidentally, I'd like to see Vitali fight Maskaev because Oleg claims to have KO'd Vitali in the amateurs. If that's the truth, then I think the fight'd be better than we think, if Oleg has Vitali's number.Comment

The timing of his "comeback" seems suspect to me. Why is Vitali rushing into a title fight before Maskaev can defend it against his mandatory?... IMO, its because Vitali wants the easier fight (assuming that Peter would win the WBC title) against Maskaev rather than fight Peter. And who's to say that if Vitali wins the title then Peter will be the next in line...Comment

Maskaev is full of ****. Vitali retired in the fight due to injury so it went down on the records as a TKO for Maskaev. He did not physically knock Vitali out or put him out on his feet. Maskaev and his camp are blowing smoke up everyone's asses.Comment

That's merely an assumption on your part. You are, essentially, calling Vitali's confidence into question when you say that he's coming back now and coming after Oleg simply because Oleg might be viewed as the weakest title holder.
That's not fair.
Ever occur to you that Vitali is coming back now because he's only recently been given a clean bill of health to do so? And did you consider that maybe he's going after Oleg because Oleg holds Vitali's old belt?
Im not saying I know what's in Vitali's heart any more than anyone else, but I think it's a damn sight more plausible than assuming cowardice on the part of such a courageous fighter.Comment
