Hatton uses Mayweather's name like a Man that continues to tell a woman, "Sure baby, we are going to get married, I promise". This so the women sticks around, but people that have heard this before know he is bull****ting his ass off. The only way he is going to walk down the isle with Mayweather is if Mayweather loads his (Ricky's) bank account with unbelievable money, so that when he gets laid (out) the money will cushion his fall.

That, or Ricky is really trying to buy time: get as much ***** {money} now, hope Mayweather gets older faster, and then he can dance the night away with Mayweather.

You can't say "Everbody". ****, I gave Hatton a good chance. I favored Tszyu, but I knew Hatton had a good chance. I wasn't confident in Tszyu's ability even in the Mitchell fight, he actually surprised me a bit. Like I said before though, I knew Tszyu wasn't the same fighter after he fought
      James Leija.

You're absolutely right, this is the perfect time for them to fight. But instead of making the fight just 3 months ago, Hatton chose to face Juan Urango and now Castillo. He sounds like he wants the fight, but his actions clearly show he doesn't. I wish the guy would talk about his next opponent more than a guy he never intends to face...
Be sensible about this. Neither of them have been at the right place to fight one another previously. Ricky wasn't fighting in America, he didnt have a good relationship with any of the networks out there and thus he was never going to be getting the payday that he was looking for from such a career defining fight (you could even say that with the exception of Kostya, he hadnt fought the level of competition that deems him to be a fair P4P challenger for Floyd). Fighting a couple of low-key title fights and then moving onto a much anticipated war with a veteran and highly rated fighter like Castillo does that. Meanwhile Floyd was looking for big paydays like De La Hoya at a weight Hatton has not made the successful transition to yet. So they were both looking at different things, different fights, different opponents.

However, if they both come through their respective matches. They will both likely be the biggest fight still available for each other in terms of money, credibility and fame. They obviously both recognise that, which is why they have both been talking about each other a lot more of late than ever before.

You ought to accept that and stop whining about it.

Secondly, what is so great about Kostya Tsyzu? Who did he beat that made him an all-time great? People are trying to say Hatton's win over an old Tsyzu is better than Floyd's wins over a prime Castillo, but Castillo has BY FAR the better resume between him and Kostya. This is not even debateable. And when you factor in their ages at the time of the fights, the wins over Castillo are clearly better than Hatton's win over an old Tsyzu...
Kostya was a good fighter in his day, but I will not put him on the level of Shane and Oscar. Why? Shane and Oscar have better careers. Kostya never moved up to 147 when the division was hot as hell, why?

            CASTILLO IS A SHOT FIGHTER.

If you would of said "Cotto does that", I would agree.

Mayweather seemed to step up competition fast in his career, why not Hatton?

You dont know that Castillo is a shot fighter. You're basing that off his last performance where he looked poor. If he comes out and knocks Hatton out in 1 round what will you say? What if he takes all of Hattons best shots and keeps coming with his own before losing a unanimous decision? Will that be a shot fighter? Some of you guys generalise and are way too quick to shoot fighters down. Castillo is undoubtedly a step up from the likes of Urango, therefore it is a step in the right direction. He is also a big name and a crowd favourite, as well as being a credible fighter to everyone in the industry (note how Boxing forums are not considered to be part of the industry), so if Hatton beats him in a great fight, it'll help push the buy-rates and the worth of a Hatton vs Maywhether fight up.

Its a good fight and a good style for Hatton, so it is a good progression towards a Maywhether fight.

He may not be "Shot", I may have over-stated that, but he is a declined fighter.

He fought Chico, Congradulations. Chico got his ass whooped by Floyd. That match looked like a Pimp slapping his ***** around. Chico went down so many times on Floyd, that I started to think I was watching a Gay ****.

So Chico than fights Castillo. That was a ****ing War. That beat the **** out of eachother. I am surprised both of them were even able to talk after that. We all saw how Chico looked in the next two fights. Castillo wasn't to impressive either.

Why is Hatton trying to fight someone that Floyd fought when he was 3 years old?

Mayweather was feeling real horny one night at a club when he came across Hatton...

Floyd: Want to go back to my place??
                    Hatton: Bloody hell!! Of course!

After a good night of bump and grind Floyd got up in the morning and went to the gym to train. When he came back he was shocked that Hatton was still at his home calling him baby..
Floyd: wow wow wow... This was supposed to be a one night thing...why are you still here??
Hatton: You mean you don't love me??
Floyd: Nah ***** I was just trying to beat that *****.. Get the **** out my house yo!
                    Hatton: ~runs of crying~

Little did Floyd know that Hatton had gone through his **** and picked up his cell number. After days and days of calling and voicemails trying to get Floyd to take him back Floyd switched his number.... Because of this Hatton is butt hurt and has been thinking about him ever since.

I hope this explains everything for you!
